I think I prefer the chat rooms, the boards are a bit awkward to use because there isn’t a notification when somebody replies to you.
thers is an option to be notified of replies
its just under this on the post part

i prefer the boards allthough these ones arnt very active so i do pop in the rooms

Update notification emails are now enabled by default.
There was the option of getting an email every time someone even mentions your username, but that didn’t work out after we upgraded from the old forum software since it was sending notifications from the beginning of time, rather than from the upgrade point onwards.
