Thoughts?
Personally I have no problem with people breastfeeding and think that it should be up to the mother to decide when it’s time to stop…however the picture is distasteful to me, not because it shows an older child breastfeeding but because of the way it is staged, obviously for effect. Shock value rather than serious photojournalism.
I like breast feeding, even at my age.

Breastfeeding should be done in privacy, never in public unless in an emergency. I hate this old chestnut rearing up time and again. Argument is ..Its natural, well so is going to the toilet but noone wants to see you curl one down in a restaurant..end of dit :x

i happen to agree, breastfeeding though natural and necessary, should be done as discreetly as possible, having seen women just flop em out at a restaurant table many a time for instance, in the past, its isnt nice for other diners, and especially not with older children like that if you want to still breast feed when they are that age, fine just do it in the privacy of your own home, they are solid eating at this time and can wait.
Speaking from experience I believe breat feeding to be a peaceful, quiet time when mother and baby can share some quality time together………so I personally would never have dreamt of doing it in a restaurant or on a bench in the town centre.

Oh …. I thought this meant breastfeeding whilst parachuting, rock-climbing or bungee-jumping :-D
Me personally I wouldn’t breadtfeed in public who wants ppl gorping at yer when yer doin somethin private n loving
