Ok arrived today…wrapped copy of season 7 Game of Thrones : Winter is here. Can’t wait til later. Apparently..it’s going to be mega. Only spoiler i will give away what i heard is that arya gets her vengeance on watzizname for the slaughter of her family at the infamous red wedding.
Any one got any thoughts on the series so far and/or what you might think will be brewing up in series 8?

Awesome! ok..watched the first 2 episodes……..one thing that’s always intrigued me is the motives of Little Finger…he’s still in the back ground watching every thing..Is this guy good or bad? Bad if you asked me….interesting how the alliances are being made. Who’s a greater threat…Ice Walkers from the north or Circe from the South? And what role does Sir John have to play as he’s going through extreme pain to be rid of the grey scale disease?

7 episodes is great as i’ve found out as if i’m not mistaken,..one of them is the longest episode ever. Circe’s expecting a dragon attack as her military experts are creating weapons to kill them.

Never bothered with special features on DVD..sort of spoils it in some ways. Only special features i ever bothered with was the original Tomb Raider film.
Personally…..i find that eight series is a great number….take Mr Monk for example…eight series summed it up. Let’s hope though that series 8 of Game of Thrones goes out with one hell of a bang and all the questions are answered.

Actually, it could be a spoiler for those that haven’t watched it yet.
Ok…been a long week but up to episode 4 on Game of Thrones series 7…and wow! i’ll be honest….series 5 and 6 didn’t really do much for me apart from fill in certain plot details but here, we are back on form……episode 3 joins the end game where we are seeing how the final pieces of the puzzle fit together. Episode 3 deals in alliances mostly and talking of winning the war. Bit too much emphasis on bending the knee if you asked me but then Game of Thrones is a game of power. A lot of the players are coming together…and that sets the scene but to be honest…the real actions sets off in episode 4 where the battle takes place.
The questions i have here are these…..what is the significance of the knife that little finger gives? What is the significance of John Snow and Dragon Queen meeting? and how does Arya fit in to all this with her changing faces illusion?
Thing i like about DVD is this : there’s no adverts for one thing…i can take it all in when iv’e got the time and i follow the story….who saw it first really doesn’t concern me. Biggest turn off in chat about film etc is when people say…already seen that…..so what? Bit like Cinema really…many pride them selves on seeing things first before every one else.
Whats your point?
Back to series 7 and don’t mess with Circe ’cause she’ll deliver back vengeance many times the original attack. Does Circe get her come up-once in series 8? I would assume that is the whole point of this epic?
Will be giving my reasoning on the next 2 episodes over the weekend.
