Happy Birthday, Facebook, famous for introducing us to gun nuts who like to post pics of themselves smiling just before they go on a rampage, reminding us of the number of people with an unhealthy interest in Dr Who, and giving us all a secret new friend in the US National Security Agency.
So many benefits, can’t name them all just off the top of me head
Facebook has also allowed millions of young people to friend their parents in a desperate attempt to get their totals of friends high…
also it has allowed millions of young people to then defriend their parents as they realised what those parents were actually like, and that friending them allowed their parents to see just what the kids were up to.
