There are people who put up with lots due to being compassionate, and has absolutely nothing to do with self esteem.
I have plenty of self esteem, yet I am compassionate towards people who perhaps could treat me better.
I am also a Christian, having said that I am not a practising one as I dont go to mass, etc …yet I do believe in some of the teachings…but that’s just due to my personality, to who I am as a person…not to what has been instilled in me as a child.
There are good people and there are bad people; it’s as simple as that.
May all my British friends enjoy the season and keep an upbeat attitude. It’s hard for some at this time, here in the USA, Inc., I just lost a brother, then 10 days later a sister, and in Feb I lost my dearest friend in life, he was from Leeds. It’ll be a lonely difficult time but I know if YOU guys can do it, there’s hope for me and every other soul who may be hurting. Bless you all
