I keep away from all hospital programmes.

Some people are fixated on real-life A&E programmes..

The real thing freaks me out…

and some of the people who work in them are scaaaary

Oh do shut up Q, not every thread is about you.

Kenty sorry, its on BBC2, its a documentary but it interviews surgeons and staff who explain where they feel the NHS is failing etc, also follows some cases, its really well done, not designed to play on emotions at all, just factual and very interesting, not sure what night its on as I only watch stuff on catch up anyway.

It is on Tuesdays 9pm BBC 2.  The first series featured London hospitals, this second series is from the Queens Medical Centre, and University Hospital Nottingham.

I love this series it is so down to earth, and tells it how it is from the point of view of the staff.

I also like the way it features some operations and patients from admission to discharge, so you get to find out if the patients survived.

Last week was fascinating because a woman had a 6kg stomach tumour removed and survived.

” Some people are fixated on real-life A&E programmes..”

Are they ? I don’t know anyone fixated on them, anyway, its nothing like a ‘real-life A&E programme. It’s factual and people can learn exactly how it all works and where things go wrong ( with the NHS ), like GD, I love it though it is frustrating and can be upsetting.
