but i cant afford to pay the registration fee i think its a rip off to be honest and im not sure about becoming staff because i know on some other sites you want access to my computer and im not up for that because i dont like my privacy invaded

I just hit the “report” button on a post if it concerns me. I didn’t do that on other sites because I was wanting to be nice to people. But if good users don’t take action against the bad behavior of other users the bad users only end up feeling more powerful and encouraged by it. Things quickly get out of hand and they start to become manipulative and tyrannical. It’s not good for anyone. Enough is enough.

Your privacy wont be invaded, and i speak from the experience of being a member of staff.

if you want to incorporate a charge then charge for other things on the site

What other things on the site do you think would be more appropriate for us to charge for?

Oh dear this is getting all a bit too deep innit fgs.

The comment I can afford registration tickles me …. Is tinternet access free generally these days?

I have mentioned it before £4.99 a MONTH is extrortionate. You have to be registered to contribute to the boards anyway. How is paying going to protect anyone?

&  & & …….. who are the namechangers on the boards you speak of young jack ?

Except on the mobile devices, it is not hard or really time consuming to block the jerks. Over time, if you don’t acknowledge them, I find they go away. We have done this as a group – individual by individual – when having nice chats in forum 1.
At other times, we rile them up our selves.. but I don’t usually participate in that – though I have been known to.

I find that all you can do is be yourself, try to ignore the idiots, and find the fantastic folk. That’s about it.

I generally try to avoid being annoyed at them – instead viewing them as loud ignorant children vying for attention – and I don’t give them either positive or negative attentions. Why reward such awful behavior?

I also do NOT have an interest in playing detective. It’s not worth it.

so many name changers hard to name them all especially when you dont know who they are half the time also becoming a host is tempting but dont know how long ill be using the site for due to unforseen circumstances and there are so many other things you could charge for instead of membership but im not going to go into detail about these others things until monthly membership charges have been scrapped but you can incorporate alsorts into the site if you know what your doing and how to do it oh well maybe i should make my own site and see where it goes

If you’re a VIP member, your preferred chat name can’t be used by others. If you feel we need more staff in the chat rooms, how about volunteering to be a Chat Guide?

Maybe more people would volunteer if some of the chat guides didn’t constantly brag they have final say who gets chosen?…..you will probably not confirm or deny this either so it will remain an ongoing issue for those who say they would like a go at being a guide

and no I’ve never applied before some think it’s a thinly veiled cry
