Yeah when I used to chat a lot it used to annoy the shyte out of me, it’s like they use it in place of a full stop, either that or they haven’t a clue what it stands for and just copy other people by putting it at the end of a sentence lol lmao, pmsl, lmfao, rofl …….. sorry got a bit carried away there

You may be disturbed, so I am confused? Expressions used here, am sad can not respond better..
But “lol” means or told to me is either lots of luck, or lots of love….depending on context used/provided.
Just like when your x provided I use O as well….Jokes, if in this regard, guess how joke is implied/ used, one who laughs with you or at you. And those at you, usually are those who make fun of you, use you for entertainment, even hurt you..

I tend to laugh a lot, all the time, so when i’m typing, if i laugh at what i’m writing or the thought it conveys i subconsciously write it in as an expression of my mood at the time. I will agree though that it can be very irritating to others and this sort of expression…lol…lmao etc should technically be used in moderation other wise it becomes a mannerism, like waving one’s hands frantically all the time when one speaks.

I’m having fish fingers for tea and similar expressions……Used to do this quite a bit on F.B. I think one doesn’t have much to say but is in a sociable mood so just writes some thing mundane to feel part of it all. Then laughing at how silly one sounds also showing not taking it to seriously either.
