In Rememberance of Peds

I’ve known Ped as alot of you also have for a while and I am saddened indeed by this news.
My thoughts are with his family, Mims and friends.

Ped, where ever you are mate, this one’s for you…………….typo free.

Although we didn’t meet
And chat we did exchange
I would not know you on the street
And doesn’t that seem strange?

You hold a place within our memories
As a Chatguide JA totally unique
We shared our banters often
And still we did not speak

I pictured what I thought you were
Perhaps you pictured us?
An intriguing game for all concerned
For someone we cannot see.

So for this friendship we possess
We owe JC a huge huge debt
Without this site around us
None of us would have ever met.

Ped was a good friend and he knew his music, he had a brilliant sense of humour j/c just wont be the same again, he will be greatly missed ((((( mims )))))

I’m still in shock – didn’t see that one coming. It isn’t fair! It’s such tragic news :(

Ped/JA was a good and loyal friend to me in JC. He would protect me from the “baddies” and his sense of humour was unsurpassed. What a wicked way with words! Not everyone got it, and I was often explaining to confused newbies, that was his way and that we all loved him for it! No-one else could call me a mumbling mutant and get away with it!! hehe

I’ve often mentioned this moment, but it is one of the classics in JC and something that still makes me smile when I think back. I always tried to rise to the challenge to make Ped crack up. We were in the quiz and the question was “What is a baby whale called?” Obviously loads of funny answers and I was already giggling, knowing that Ped was losing it….so… I said “Sperm”. I think he had trouble controlling himself that night – tears, laughter the lot. His reaction was infectious and had us all rolling.

Sigh. I will miss him loads. JC won’t be the same, nor will the quizzes, but we must all carry on in the way he would’ve liked us to, with humour, good banter and respect.

My heart goes out to his family his friends in JC and especially to mims.

I was touched that mims said he liked me and regarded me as a mate. That’s cool, thanks Ped – I felt the same.

Goodnight, sweet Prince. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. Or…should that be the “Choir Invisible?” (Python reference… Ped would understand!)

JD told me this news when I came online today,,,,,,,It rather took the wind out of my sails as i’m sure it did many of JC users.

Ped the clown, Ped the ear when you most needed one, Ped the true freind.

Goodnight and god bless my dear sweet freind, i’ll never forget you and will always hold you in my thoughts, which will always bring a smile. I’m pretty sure it’s how you’d want to be remembered.

So sad to hear another one of the few decent members of JC has sadly passed away.I only joked with Ped when I was in the rooms,but seemed a great person.Condolances to family & friends are sent.God Rest.x
