I stand down, unarmed and redundant of anything other than what i always had
Well played to that man tips had curtsies look up with my dead and vacant eyes
All roads lead to a closed door and there is no key and there never will be
I knew you before I had even met you, I can thank you for that
I do not need tissues for my ‘issues’I will not see the carnage, i will not witness my own downfall
The car crash that is me will not be the one and only thing i will focus on
Although my white flag is in the air i will not wave it at you or at anyone
I will never surrender fully, i will never get on my knees and pray
If you want to move on in life you always have to pay the tollI am not going into battle, i do not have armour or a steed
And my ramblings although unclear to others always make perfect sense to me
Its only vanity, my achillies heel and for what?
The answer is so clear, only was ever one solution
We are not responsible for the actions of anotherSo all there ever was, was a drunk and useless person
Nothing about them but all that was seen so openly
And that is all so well and good, such insight when looking into your kind of nothing
Murky dirty water seeing what you choose to see because it suits you
I am not running away, I was and am so much more than a bottle of vodkaI would say lesson learnt, but that would mean i didnt know it all already

Maybe you are right, I am nothing? but thats not even possible
We are always something, dog shit on the pavement ‘exists’And because i have been here so many times before
I will leave with my tail between my legs but with my dignity in tact
And even with all my faults and issues i am still me
And my ‘vanity’ means nothing, its only a stick to beat me with
Is ‘kindness’ ever really that kind? with so many hidden agendas?I am not giving up or giving in
I am merely accepting defeat and walking off into the sunset
I dont need to be lying on the ground bloody and sighing with my last breath
I am going to skip away and dance because i always remember
Ive been eaten and spat out so many times, its clear im very tastyI am just really hard to chew LOL-

Last Salute reminds me of an interesting episode of Colombo..entitled..Last Salute to the Commodore……any way that’s a side issue…
To be honest Sarah….in my opinion….you don’t have to worry about infuriating any one about having an opinion of your own. After all, infuriating comes across as a self controlled, verbal expression of a healthy relationship between people or peoples.
On the issue of leaving…….People leave and people come in. People come back and people leave…..Some never leave and some never stay for long. How ever…..i’m all for the fact that people are worth far more than what statistics show or fore see.
Only time i believe people have left is when one suddenly realizes they ain’t there any more but that’s just me.
If there was an event in the Olympics entitled..Jump to Conclusions….i think every one would get a gold medal…..LOLOL

I was being a bit sarcastic, I find it amusing I tend to ‘infuriate’ people. People can only ever affect how you ‘feel’ if you allow them to. As individuals we are ‘significant’ but oh so ‘unimportant’ once you look at the bigger picture. You can kick the ball into the middle of the pitch but you don’t always have to stay around to play the whole game.
I’ve had my half time orange, I’ve already got the bus home and I am plotted up drinking tea at home and no ones even noticed. Far better to be one of the players and not become the ball.
Thing is with balls (especially in sport) they either get kicked, hit or generally beat in some way to gain the advantage and win the game. I was down the Golf Club in yonder days and was asked to tee off…….i replied….is that how the caddy got his name then?….LMAO
