The famous Howe Surf Skis Sea Glider. A shortened and widened version of the Surf Life Saver style of surf ski. Nimble, stable and versatile, the Sea Glider is as happy on flat water as it is in the surf.

I’ve had to order this from Australia. They don’t make anything like it in the UK.

    At 1460 Au dollar’s its not a bad price….its about £750

Add on £500 for delivery and UK import tax its still cheaper than buying from mega kayaks  B-)

And I know wot your thinking…. why is that silly frker buying this crap?

    Well….the truth is….. I’m a bit over weight

Fun kayaks in the UK are design for those between 80-100kg. By the time I’ve put me life jacket on, wheels on the boat and a dry bag… I’m around 125kg.   This was causing a few stability issues this summer.

When I ask about it at the kayak shop they told me just to buy a double kayak

I mite be pushing 29 & 49/78 but there fun to be had on the water still. Thank God the Australian’s under stand this  ;-)

And dont ask how much I spent on a new werner paddle

    I’m only 98Kg

The problem lay’s with kayak manufacturers…. they over estimate the loading on there boats.
