26 May, 2012 at 8:56 am #496958yeah, true! :D However, I don’t really need telling as it were, I just know I am me, and so do the peeps I have remained friends with for yonks! Wonder if there is a category for ‘nutters’ who like a good laugh?!!

26 May, 2012 at 3:26 pm #496960Good addition to the list (your Tornadoes) JenJen :)
Ty minim for your comments – good additions too :)
Just want to remind other readers that my post was predominantly about ‘destructive’ chatters. Fortunately, I believe the good ‘uns still outnumber the bad ‘uns. It’s just a shame that the bad ‘uns get so much ‘press’. I know the natural reaction is to fight your corner, to retaliate in some way, to defend your honour, but it’s exactly the reaction the bad ‘uns are looking for.
In my world, people are split into two distinct groups 1) those whose opinion I value, 2) those whose opinions mean absolutely nothing to me. The only people who are able to have any significant impact on me are camped firmly in the first of those groups. It would’ve been water off a ducks back, for example, had Harold Shipman had ever labelled me cruel.

True … knowledge IS power, but more powerful is knowing when and where (and IF) to use it
