On a sincere note, I think the guides/hosts should all be applauded, past or present. They give up their own free time to supervise this particular site under often difficult circumstances. Supervising people (some) who have been on this site for donkeys years and who are consistently in conflict with others, always petty bitching and always point scoring. The guides/hosts have to be policemen/women, social workers, confidants, teachers, advisors, psychiatrists and countless other roles and of course all unpaid. Without the voluntary sector the UK would soon grind to a halt and those who don’t get off their lazy arses and contribute themselves on this particular site, often ‘mock’ those who do.

Lovely speech Gerry, but I’m afraid to say that you have devalued and reduced it by coming into chat a few hours later drunkenly abusing anyone and everyone. I think when you sober up you deserve to apologise to Janeylou in particular for your unecessary foul mouthed and very abusive comments you directed at her.  I find Janey to be one of the nicest chatters in here, and have already apologised to her on your behalf.

Your behaviour tonight is disgraceful, appaling, shocking and totally uncalled for. As we see from the chat (which I have saved) I’m not the only one to share these sentiments.
