DO NOT VIEW IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED.

    http://www.uklifeleague.com/abortion-image-gallery/Index1.htm

Edward Atkinson, a 76 year old pro-life campaigner has become the latest victim of freedom speech, his “crime” was sending pictures of an aborted baby, and a video of an abortion, to the Chief Executive of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Trust in King’s Lynn, he was convicted on three counts for sending offensive literature or material.

And this is at a time when judges are being told by the Government not to jail muggers and burglars, madness, utter madness.

IT is YOU, ME and YOUR next door neighbour that must realise that our freedom of expression is being taken away from us.

What are we going to do about it?

Very true, but this cannot be right surely?

All he did was legally send pictures and video footgae to “authority”, how is that a criminal offence?

If your grandmother did this, how would you then react, what would you think of blairs regime then?

Evil dictatorship’s start without many knowing….

i am not a big fan of pro life campainers but I think this is terrible, check out this man who has been told he can no longer protest for “security mesures”. He has been protesting outside the Houses of Parlement for years and now he is being banned. it is desgusting. The government is there to protect our rights not take them away! Where will it all end?

The government said Mr Haw posed a potential security risk and described his argument as absurd

Peace = potential security risk, absurd? I rather think so, dont you?

These are the very idiotic people who are running our society.

What are we going to do about it?

Mr Haw’s solicitor is understood to have written to the police saying his client will not leave Parliament Square voluntarily.

Speaking from his makeshift shelter, Mr Haw, who was not in court, said: “They were completely and utterly wrong.

“This is such a farce. Security? I have been here five years keeping the security of Parliament. We are not the security risk, we are not the risk to the world, Bush and Blair are.”

Mr Haw’s supporters shared his anger at the decision.

Do you support Mr Haw and Edward Atkinson?

If so, what are you going to do, to stop blairs regime from stiffling your freedom to speak?

Civil rights pressure group Liberty said the ruling was a “blow to free speech”.

Do you agree you should have civil rights?

If so, what are you going to do to ensure you keep them?

Director Shami Chakrabarti said: “Unfortunately, today’s judgment, and the law he (Tony Blair) passed, prove the right to protest is under severe threat in this country.”

This is the asian lady with the short black hair, often on question time (for those who dont know).

She is defending us, she is not alone, but she needs OUR help.

Do you like the idea that gives you freedom to protest?

If so, what are you going to do to ensure that continues?

We are in major changes in our history. We have a fascist government, who will stop at nothing to murder innocent people in a foreign country, through ilegal means.

If you think that is bad, then what can stop them from inflicting the above against us, not much you might think? You are right.

Actually i have met Brian Haw outside the houses of Parliament. he is a weird sort of guy with staring eyes and he is totally – I mean totally – convinced that he is right. a classic example of a single issue ‘warrior’.

His protest site is right opposite the main entrance to the house of Commons and it must piss of the Dear Leader and his mates immensley as everytime they come and go to the House – there is ”mad Brian” shouting the odds at them.

The site itself is a rag bag collection of old junk, dirty canvas awnings and a large collection of hand written posters that you can only read when you go right up to them.

However, he is one of the great British eccentrics and whilst I think that he spouts bollocks most of the time, I support his right to do so.

i would not for a second suggest that revolution is in order but I would suggest a degree of caution about how the government chooses laws these day’s. We have gone further towards 1984 in the past five years than ever before. i totally agree that we should get behind liberty. I have no paitence for this veiw that we need to give up rights and the rule of law for security!

I don’t feel secure knowing the government own more power than ever before!

    Do you?

BTW – the lovely and ever fragrant Emma also spouts bollocks most of the time too – and I equally support her right to do so.

She is clearly yet another single issue bigot.

NHS Trusts have a policy of zero tolerance towards aggression, abuse etc.

The staff who open his letters and videos have no option- that is there job- they are being subjected to abuse of the most vile kind. I fully support the Trust’s action (incidentally they don’t do it without several warnings first to ensure the person knows exactly what will happen if he/she carries on)- withdrawal of treatment is the next step in ensuring NHS staff are not abused or persecuted- not all abuse is physical.

For the record I am also anti abortion
