I had to go over this thread a couple of times to ‘get’ the personalisation, (I only really read threads in depth when I’m tired or feeling ‘meh’. I find myself agreeing with Eve on the point that, knowing their history, the reference to Thin was a dig, not just a question. and as far as I’m concerned, bang out of order.

While her reference undoubtedly emphasised it, the point was there to be emphasised in the first place. Thin might not be blameless, and might be big enough to take care of himself, but that doesn’t mean that standing by while he’s treated badly is the right thing to do.

So fair play to eve for at least trying to stand up when you recognised what was going on.

So . . .

In abstract it’s still a subject worth debating, and the evidence of reality (if the anecdotes are genuine – sorry for casting doubt, but this is JC) can show that when stuff really goes down, none of us is sure to be who we might want to be.

In between the personal attacks we’ve also had the opportunity to get to know a bit more about some of our JC community. Thanks andy, Melody and eve for taking the risk and revealing something about yourselves.

I just hope there’s a misspelling in amongst that lot . . . . . . .
