So funny the fuss being made about Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes, some of his jokes were a bit harsh but, we British are fairly self deprecating and we can laugh at ourselves, something our American cousins cannot do, Well they are prefect dont you know :? I think Ricky got it so wrong for his American audience, I have a feeling he wont be invited back for a while :lol:

I thought it was classic Ricky its the yanks lookout if they dont get his humour.Why book him in the first place they know enough about him.
Have to agree with yourchoice, not only why book him, but why book him again, its not like this year was any different to last!!

Didn’t see the awards but Gervais is a funny guy. :D
He got a tad personal with some comments! I suppose it depends how vulnerable those ppl are who he commented on as to the reaction

I agree, I also have a sneaky feeling their speeches are seen in advance…well maybe rough drafts? Anyway…like they say………truth hurts :lol:
One or two American actors take themselves far too seriously. Not all, just some.
