Enough whinging, moaning and accusations of trolling or being trolled……let’s talk about me!!

So recently as most of you know, as I have bored the pants off most of you daily in the room  I started to learn to ice skate. I had been maybe twice  whilst at school and wasn’t too bad as long as I went round fast in a circle the momentum kept me upright.

Anyway…quite a different story at the age of 52! I have had 5 out of my 6 beginners lessons so far…..I fell, HARD the first lesson twice, but managed to stay upright ever since….mainly because I don’t move much  B-) im improving  every week even though it’s a teeeeny weeeny bit each time…..nevertheless I want to be able to take my granddaughter ice skating.

So lovely people….what have you started later on in life? Is the sense of achieving more satisfying too?

Hi, well done with the ice skating way to go!!!!!!!

For me, I am at the stage of ‘revisiting’ things I used to do and going back and using old skills I used to have.

I’m attempting to realise what I used to be and trying to restart my previous skills and work on them in order to be more productive in life.

If I can earn money doing what I want to do then that will be good.

I used to sing and dance and act on stage so I’d also like to go back to that maybe some amdram or just a few tap dancing lessons would interest me.

For now will concentrate on my writing and getting my business back up and running and the other things I have in the pipeline.

I wish you well with the skating, cool nanna!

I am beginning to think I am getting too old to continue as a mercenary fighter in the Congo. There’s not a lot of future in it, though there is a lot of money to be made there from the diamond mining companies.

I’m looking to start a new career as a motorcyclist on the Wall of Death. I’m practising on the North Circular Road whenever I go to London.

Anyone want to ride on the back??? :-)

You have JN  ….  everyone does, they just don’t realise they do. You are a fair minded person who tries to see both sides and is never nasty. You are honest and don’t take yourself too seriously.  That is an achievement in its self !! :good:

To be honest…..in my opinion…a lot of people may not or don’t necessarily get confidence in life til they are much older. Some find out who they are and what they want at a very early age while others may take a lot longer…..how ever….once you have a burning desire for what makes you tick…you’ll be on fire….Every one has an amazing talent that is waiting to be discovered…..

Don’t expect Simon Cowell to find it for you….you have to discover your real talent for your self..

Achievement is a personal thing…..at the end of the day….what does it mean to achieve?…..Tell you what i’ll do…i’ll write a post on it…..
