I am shocked, shocked, that nobody has posted an RIP for this man.
What a lucky wife. Didn’t she do well?
He was amazing. He wasn’t funny, couldn’t sing, couldn’t dance. But he made jokes, sang, danced, and got away with it for decades without being lynched; he was adored, in fact.
Why, I ask?
One simple reason.
Hhe had chutzpah.
So here’s to you, Sir Bruce.
If I go to the same place as you when I die, I hope they keep the dancing and game shows well away from my hearing and sight.

Talking down to people like a school teacher is not something I want to do, but several people (not just here) have told me off about it. Gerry even assumed I was a school teacher (I’ve never taught in school, not even for a day) and., being Gerry, he assumed eh was correct and poured on the abuse accordingly.
