10 January, 2008 at 5:06 am #302828was pushed without a doubt.
But the big problem for the last few years was that fool Shepherd. Now the new chairman can bring his own man in and has some idea of a plan ?
Those fans deserve it

Shearer rules out Newcastle job
Shearer scored 206 goals in his time with Newcastle
Sources close to Alan Shearer have confirmed to the BBC this evening that he is extremely unlikely to be the next manager of Newcastle.
Shearer says he is currently very happy with his job on Match of the Day.The former England captain, who played for the Magpies for nearly 10 years and ended his career at St James’ Park, had been strongly linked with the post.
Newcastle are beginning the hunt for their seventh manager in 11 years after the departure of Sam Allardyce.
Other names linked with the job include Martin Jol, Jose Mourinho(your avin a laugh), Jurgen Klinsmann, Marcello Lippi and former England boss Steve McClaren(hahaha hope you do get the clown).
how sad it is not to have an actual opinion that you havent read somewhere
what a wa nker13 January, 2008 at 12:28 am #302835Shearer’s not the man for the job. Being a Geordie and a club legend is no substitute for experience. I think a job on the coaching staff, working alongside an experienced manager – much in the way McCoist is learning from Walter Smith – would be a good move for him though. Now that Redkapp is ruled out, I reckon Keegan’s a good bet.
