As for good……i got a very robust body…..must have been all that calcium and yogurt and cheese i ate in my youth……and chicken and fish….

28 May, 2018 at 1:03 pm #1096551Lol. I’d be so stiff, not sure if could get off bike. Stuck to handle bars, seat. Some one have to carry me off, place me in bath tub. Pray I don’t drown as I may fall a sleep…xx
Heck even getting in to bed, be carried..
But those who have perhaps trained for years, well good for you.. I will stick to hour tops. Few few hours break. Lol.. ride again. No 8 hours here..
Keeping trucking..
29 May, 2018 at 12:34 am #1096643Longest day’s iv’e done of cycling is 14 -15 hours…getting off to go to shops or to admire scenery etc….what is most important i have found doing long miles is the seat one uses……i’ve tried loads over the last few years as long hours in the saddle can make one’s inside legs very sore. Back in 2014 when i did a 238 mile trip….the last 30 miles or so were agony and i had to keep cycling standing up as my legs were so sore. Rubbing vaseline or bike cream into the legs before riding helps as well as it prevents to a certain extent the friction building up where the legs get rubbed til their sore…..all this comes with time and experience.
