Oh yes, forgot about spam fritters!  Dad also used to make huge lamb stews with big packets of soup. Just added some cheap scrag ends of lamb, pearl barley, any old veg, bunged it in. Lovely jubbly it was.  We also had breast of lamb sometimes, with stuffing in the middle. Nom nom.

Lol Batty, blast from the past, we loved our stews and literally licked the plate clean like starving wolves, looking hungrily to see if mum or dad didn’t eat all theirs cos we weren’t allowed to leave table until everyone else had finished eating and don’t forget the dumplings!

Oh ye and as chicken got cheaper and more readily available, traditional roast on a Sunday followed by a chicken left overs “curry” of sorts on the Monday, but with spuds not rice, you can still buy traditional curry sauce, god knows what’s in it but I do enjoy the nostalgia now and then and still buy a tin/jar or keep one in the cupboard.

    :-)

I compared his family to that of a family I know; they had 14 kids and only the father worked, yet never ate sugar on bread.

This is Blossom in the room, still seething. Blossoms logic, because she didn’t know anyone who ate sugar on bread, it means no one did.

    Love you Blossom babe.

My thoughts on this  are the following

1 the site changes took place in April

Martin / Chat-Host UK owner of the site offered everyone free

registration for board and room if you were not already registered.

2 The rules were explained in great detail so even a 5 year old could

understand let alone someone of the age of over 18

3 He continued to allow people to register for free

4 There was an episode in the room between people i wont name were

addresses and pictures were shared apparently without permission

If you haven’t read the Just Chat site rules for a while, now would be

a good time for a refresher since they have just been updated.

From 7 July 2017, we do not allow the sharing of personal

information about other users, or pictures of other users (or members

of their family) without their permission.

Although sharing personal information and photos without permission was

generally not permitted (this often fell under the rule that we do not

allow the harassment or taunting of other users), in light of recent

activity in the chat forums and message boards we felt it was important

to make this rule more explicit.

Users who share personal information about other users (including, but

not limited to, phone numbers and addresses) or photos of other users

or their family members without permission risk an immediate and

    permanent ban from Just Chat.

As a reminder, all registered members agreed to abide by the site rules

when they registered. All guest users agree to abide by the site rules

when they access any chat forum.

We try to keep our site rules clear and concise. In fact, this is the

first expansion of our site rules for a number of years. We trust that

all users of Just Chat will respect the rules we’ve put in place to

protect all users and maintain a positive environment at Just Chat.

    environment for all our members.

5 So i think Martin has been more than fair with us all
So i decided from now on my response to Tw@ts who try to bait me will be i will to continue to say ello most when i enter the room as there are some people i don’t speak to so why would i say ello to them bit pointless the Anyone who tries to get me to argue or starts being abusive to me will get the following response
Father, Father, Father, help us Send some guidance from above ‘Cause people got me, got me questioning Where’s the love? (love) Where’s the love? (the love) Where’s the love? (the love) Where’s the love, the love, the love?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpYeekQkAdc

    Now meet iggy goodbye

6 those that come in the room moaning about having to pay 99p to register or whining about Martin having assess to there details now
    should have
A Registered when it was free
B Not abused the free registration and got themselves banned and now have to pay to re register
put up the money or shut up if your not going to  be abusive you have no reason to get banned and will have nothing to hide.
those that bang on about guides banning people Willy Nilly need to lodge a complaint and follow it through Martin can view logs and see weather it was warranted or not
Or bog off to a different site that doesn’t charge or come as a guest
the choices are there to made

And before the spelling and grammar police reply

    I don’t give a stuff so don’t bother
