My dad and I were very very close. Him growing up in a hard environment, raised hard, joined the Army at 18. Considered tuff then, coming out and parents marriage, not sure how my mum managed with out me…heeee..

He most of all his life from what saw and heard was the “Man”. All listened..he worked hard for his family, and all holidays like I do now. We never went without. Not spoiled, good amount of food, clothing good shelter..

My mum always jealous with our relationship. She confessed to me on the last day of her own life thoughts she held all those years. I was in shock..

It was then she said to me, that when ever I spoke to Dad, he mellowed, listened to reasoning, even when he got very ill. The meaning of “Daddy’s little girl, never left him,” she told me. Even grown up on my own, he made sure no matter where I was, she call me…every day….

When I finally do sleep, hee, hee, I look up to the heaven with prays to my belief in my creator, and always to my Dad.

My mum, well she deceased too, but I look at her stuff every day she loved….she still hanging on here, hee..I had much of my own stuff in a large home. Closing down 62 years for my parents, well all with me too. Filtered in my home. Hard to let go….. so King, you want to help me wash all my crystal, and dust come early Saturday mornings. Hee……
