Yes GDPR does have a basis here,

Any business that collects your data needs to comply with theses new regulations.

You may well have already had Emails from Banks, Email companies online shopping companies even Facebook and other similar sites.

Every company that collects your data needs to comply and this site collect Email addresses and bank details even if it maybe using a third party to do so.

I have received Emails and Letters from all of these type of companies including companies not in the UK.

D-Day for GDPR is 25 May 2018. The European Parliament’s official publication of the General Data Protection Regulation means it will become enforceable on 25 May 2018.

This directive came into being on the 25th May 2018 and Martin has failed to comply with it.

Read this and then you may have a clue as to what it is all about before you try trolling me.

What is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – an overview

The GDPR is a comprehensive regulation that unifies data protection in all EU countries. It will directly apply in all EU member states from 25 May 2018; businesses have less than 6 months to prepare. It’s time to act now. The GDPR has a very broad territorial scope and will apply to any organization that manages the personal data of individuals who are based in the EU, regardless where the organization is registered. Non-compliance leads to severe consequences. Fines may amount to a maximum of EUR 20 million, or 4% of global annual turnover. The GDPR requires organizations to implement reasonable data protection measures to protect the personal data of consumers and employees against data loss or exposure. To achieve that goal, the law regulates all areas related to data management and processing, from obtaining user consent to setting up company-wide data protection practices and handling data breach incidents.

Because he hasn’t contacted members of the site about it. “ obtaining user consent ” this is also part of the law have you received an Email from him? as I certainly have not.

Calling me a Tiny Mussolini is quite clearly trolling as it has nothing to do with my thread to Martin but is clearly an insulting post against me.

Hugs you clearly come on here looking for a partner having asked women to marry you having not even met them – you’re unhinged. Most people come here as a form of escapism with more important things in their lives. Your entire time on here is spent reporting people, mainly women who reject your ugly ass. A poster sexually harassing females pushing 60 living with his mother wasting police time over an internet chat site he voluntarily keeps going in despite having the option of not logging in defines a troll and would be laughed out of any sane court anywhere. Find some interest/ hobbies away from here instead of a lonely old man targeting women who don’t want to meet you let alone marry you. If you are looking for a life partner, why not pop down the local bingo hall.. this is a chatsite not plenty of fish.
