I actually find your post embarrassing when it comes to reasoned argument.

    1) The centre ground is being emptied.

What do you think that means?

The centre ground is the middle between a strong hard brexit and a People’s vote.

Mrs disMay held that centre ground. The Labour leadership held that centre ground, though the remain majority was so strong that effectively Labour was characterised by all as ‘uncertain’ about Brexit.

The Brexit party and UKIP held to a firm Brexit, with no deal being seen as the option to choose rather than compromise. The Lib Dems and Greens held to a firm People’s Vote. So did the SNP and Plaid Cymru.

    2) Fact – according to BBC analysis of the vote –

UKIP and Brexit party = 34.9% the hard no-deal vote

Lib Dems, Greens, Change UK, Plaid Cymru, SNP = 40.4% the hard remain vote

Labour plus Tories = 23.2% the  centre ground

That’s the basis of why the brexit party, while doing well, didn’t do as well as is being trumpeted.

The centre ground is odd, because both Labour and Tories comprise a Remain and hard brexit voters, though the Labour Remain vote and the tory np-deal vote is much larger.

if allied with Tories, the Brexit vote is 44%,

Labour with 14.1% is undecided. If a no-deal option, which is not certain but looks likely to say the least, then Labour is anti-No Deal, which gives the anti no-dealers (very roughly) 54.5% of the vote.

Facts. They are clear. The Brexit party did very well, as expected, but not as well as trumpeted. In fact, the anti no-deal Brexit vote wins.

This is on a 37% turnout, which means that a referendum or an election would be too close to call.

    3) You’ve done nothing here but throw obscenities, personal abuse and digressions for a long time now, so I have no idea whether your ‘predictions’ were right. I’ve certainly never sneered at Curtice, nor do I remember a time when you used Curtice. Like so much of what you say, you dream it up.

I don’t make predictions because I have no crystal ball. I’ve learned not to predict the future; it’s a stupid man’s game. I look at the facts and try to work out the tendencies. These can change, so I try to bear that in mind.

So I have no idea whether Brexit will happen or not, though I think there is a growing possibility that it won’t. I don’t know whether there will be an attempt at a hard brexit on hallowe’en, but the likelihood is that there will be. I don’t know whether it will succeed, but the likelihood is that come the 31st October, the centre ground between no deal and remain will have emptied.

You’re not grounded in reality of any sort, so you leap from pillar to post throwing insults and false accusations around. that’s the way you operate. If anyone is foolish enough to take you seriously, then more fool they.

“In Hughes’ 1857 book, Flashman (a relatively minor character) is portrayed as a notorious bully at Rugby School who persecutes Tom Brown, and who is finally expelled for drunkenness. Fraser decided to write Flashman’s memoirs, in which the school bully would be identified with an “illustrious Victorian soldier” experiencing many 19th-century wars and adventures and rising to high rank in the British Army, acclaimed as a great soldier, while remaining “a scoundrel, a liar, a cheat, a thief, a coward—and, oh yes, a toady.”[1] Fraser’s Flashman is an antihero who often runs from danger in the novels. Nevertheless, through a combination of luck and cunning, he usually ends each volume acclaimed as a hero.[2]”

And you’re still a bullshitter who tries bullying everyone into submission, Flashman.

Farrage is leading you British idiots down a path of complete economic destruction. You deserve it. Dont come begging to us Americans to bail you out again. We saved you in WWII but never again will Americans die or sacrifice our wealth to save you people. Teresa May had a plan to get you out of the EU on good terms and  Farrage, Boris, and that Labout leader idiot said no. Suffer the consequences because you deserve it.

Yukon you old crock of shyte, thought you would be kicking up daisies by now.Listen buddy, you didn’t give us anything We had to pay for it all, up front, in gold. And when the gold began to run out, it was in foreign currency and securities. Learn your history before you come here sprouting rubbish .The USA didn’t enter the war to save Britain, they were dragged in by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour and by Germany and Italy’s declaration of war on them in December 1941. While out boys were getting on with the war it took the USA two years to enter WW2.The United States  antipathy to the British Empire, which stemmed from way, way before WW2. The war presented you with an opportunity to loot Great Britain of every available liquid asset, then afterwards dismantle our Empire and sweep away any competition for trade and capital. You even abruptly ended Lend and Lease while we were helping to feed and rebuild half of Europe. Your so called  economic assistance would have beggared Britain whether we had won or lost the war. All our lads  British and American  fought side by side with great courage and shed precious blood together as allies, but your government operated from a position of self-interest as it always has done. Which is fair enough, but you certainly didn’t save our arses! The American’s couldnt land their own men on the moon without the aid of Nazi war criminals! USA rounded up all the nazi scientists after the war  inculding their best rocket engineer Wernher von brawn and gave them all  Citizenships to stay in America.Shame on you Yukon to your ignorance and lack of history knowledge! Dont make claims you cant back up.   Have a nice day why dontcha :-)
