Flash will bypass any proxy or VPN you are using and report your actual IP address when quesioned. I believe the same is true with Java applets, I would have to double check the Java specification to confirm this however.

The BBC is starting to shift back into normality I think, they made a comedy skit mocking ISIS, and they recently made a fairly good anti-EU documentary, although they misclassified Geert Wilders as far-right.

Their hiring policy is still discriminatory and unforgivable though.
