I think it’s so important to teach children good eating habits from a very early age. My 3 year old loves salad, raw vegetables, fruit and soup. I don’t make him finish his food if he tells me he’s not hungry and he watches me exercise daily. I want my kids to know how important it is to take care of yourself. My husband’s family has a history of heart disease and my family has a history of cancer. I think of it as being prepared for battle. You have to have the right tools to do it. I think a strong healthy body gives you the chance to lead a long and active life.
