I doubt if ordinary Muslims want to take over society any more than Hindus, Jews, Christians, atheists etc.
What does seem to be happenning, though, is that islamic extremists and sub-extremist radicals are trying to take over islam and use it to take over society. In such a scenario of Talibanisation,, ordinary muslims have almost as much to lose as us ‘infidels’.
Their alleged crime was not committed in America, even if the ‘victim’ was an American company. What I’m not sure about is whether what they’re alleged to have done would even be a crime under British (i.e English or Scottish) law.
If you’re asked, in a professional capacity, to value an asset and you deliberately undervalue it, then buy it when it’s offered for sale, then sell it on at a profit, is that illegal here? Isn’t that what secondhand car dealers, property speculators, antique dealers, etc. are doing all the time? This is exactly what BaE did when it got Rover dirt cheap from the government and sold it on to a few years later BMW.
My solution for the Israel Palestinian conflict is for a Chinese military occupation of the area. NOBODY would argue with the Chinese military!!!!
On a more serious note, there are two populations who both claim the same land and will not live peacefully together. Yet neither Jews nor Arabs (mainly muslim) were the original occupants, both lots moved in, squeezing out the Phoenicians.

Where are Americans murdering Muslims? I have seen then light. It is called an enemy. The PC, laid back, 24/7 partytime culture we thought we’d achieved in the west led to a mass denial that we might have an enemy that sought to destroy us irrespective of anything we do or have done in the past
Because Al qaeda say the bombs in London were because of Israel or the war in Iraq or whatever, we fall into the trap of believing them. But attacks like these were planned before Iraq, before Bush became president, even. the first jihadist suicide airliner hijacking was foiled mid-air in the early 90’s, – the target…. the Eiffel Tower. France wasn’t invoilved in any controversial action against any muslim interests at the time.
Al Qaeda murdered the London commuters as well as sponsoring other big terror outrages like 9/11 and the Madrid bombings.
Yet who are the main victims of Al Qaeda, numerically? Muslims – in Iraq, Pakistan, Jordan, Egypt etc.
Al Qaeda is clearly no friend of Islam, but rather a malignant parasite that is feeding on Islam for its own dark ends.
In Europe a couple of decades ago we had atrocities commmitted by Bader Meinhof, Red Brigades, Angry Brigade and IRA. These groups murdered simply because they wanted to, using spurious and sickening political justifications.
Taken to the absurd extreme, we could end up with militant Coca-Cola drinkers killing people for drinking Pepsi!

As a child I used to eat Weetabix as a biscuit, spread with butter and honey. Apparently this is perfectly legal because the ‘bix’ part of the name Weetabix means Biscuits!
Maybe the vote should be limited to members of the middle and upper classes, which would rule out most men called Kevin!!!!
This is one issue where I find it difficult to take sides. Israelis have to face attacks on innocent people by members of a murderous jihadist group that has now been democratically elected to power in the occupied territories.
Palestinians, on the other hand, have to suffer being a prisoner-population, kept at bay by a successful and prosperous neighbour and ‘protector’ that doesn’t want to share its success and prosperity.
Since Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran stuck his oar in and threatened to ‘wipe Israel off the map’, I’m sure that I’m not the only one to have thought that this effectively turned the Palestinians into a useful ‘human shield’ for Israel! (Message from Hamas to Iran: “thanks a bundle!”)
It boils down to two populations, neither of which are descended from the original Phoenician inhabitants of the Levantine coast, but both with a claim on the territory and a hatred each other, wanting exclusive control of the same country.
