22 January, 2011 at 2:56 pm #459958I remember someone called *tempted daddy* and perverted daddy* Kenty. I always used to boot him. People might not beleive this, (as they wish) but I never booted anyone for the hell of it. I only ever booted pervs and people I was told to boot, ie the ones who were on the BOS list. Although when I was a host and had more discretion over who I decided to kick out, I still never booted anyone for the hell of it. Tempting though it was.

I can understand your points, but do you really think that the management of JustChat should be held responsible for what happened to someone on an entirely different site?
Where would their responsibilities start and end?
I still uphold my belief that we as adults should be wary of anything we do or say either in a chatroom, message board or facebook etc.
Yes Mrs teapot I agree they could be given a warning without naming and shaming.
Who’s to say that they haven’t already done so?
JustChat also has a page on online safety has anyone ever read it?
The moral of the story is “Never give out information to anyone” Facebook has very good privacy facilities surely it is up to us as the users to make good use of them.=D> =D> =D>

I’m lucky that I live in the country my nearest towns are Harrogate in one direction and Skipton in the other. Rural living is more relaxed and less stressed. The slower pace of life provides a sense of community and the openness makes people seem more accessible and kinder to each other.
I have lived in a big city kent so I understand your comments but have to say where I live its not like that at all, thank goodness!
Having experience of both I would never move back to a big city!

Beautifull parts of the world to live in Mrs T. I know Harrogate and Skipton very well, because we have often taken holidays in Yorkshire. Nothing like the scenery in that part of the world either. Lovely. You are lucky.

24 December, 2010 at 12:05 pm #457750I can honestly say I never peek. We don’t put the prezzies around the tree until just before bedtime on Christmas Eve.
24 December, 2010 at 12:03 pm #457698You’re quite right thin. At this time of the year when we are all sat in our nice comfortable homes, we really should spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves.
