We all know Lamby that other crimes have been dramatised. I think tho that the general disgust of the majority of voters on this thread speaks for itself. No………I won’t be watching it.
This wasn’t just any murder of any child, not that one should be any less important than another, but it was the cruelty dealt out to these same children that people, including myself, find so abhorent. They didn’t just murder them, they destroyed lives and one of them at least, continues to do so. I know too that the parents of the victims, have given their consent. If it works for them, then all credit to them, i’m not about to critisise them for the choices they make.

I was brought up catholic, went to catholic schools etc and had punishment handed down if I ever stepped out of line, which didn’t happen often :lol:
I can only ever remember once my dad hitting me. The fair was at the local park, we were given two free tickets to the fair at school, my mum had told me, straight home first and then! you can go to the fair. I didn’t, went to the fair instead and before I knew it, the lights were being turned off, it was past 11pm. I was scared shyteless at the thought of the walk home. When I got there mum said my dad was out looking for me, I was halfway up the strairs when he came in, i’d never seen him so angry, he chased me up the stairs and gave me such a slap, iv’e never forgotten it :lol: It’s only when you get older though that you realise how worried they must have been. Needless to say, I never went off anywhere after school again.

A scenario for you Mary :wink: :lol: Just over a week ago, I was in the park with the dog, i’d taken some bread to feed the ducks etc etc., there were a crowd of kiddies all on bikes and aged roughly, i’d say, 7 or 8, no older for sure. They started throwing rocks at the ducks and I told them to pack it in. The mouthpiece! says to me, what the f*cking ell’s it got to do with you!!!…………….now I know I shouldn’t have argued with kids, but I asked, well how about I throw rocks at you then, he said go on then, and i’ll have you f*cking arrested!!!! The worst thing really is that he’ s right eh :lol:
I walked away, but these little ‘angels’ followed me round the park on their bikes, calling me a f*cking white Whore, f*cking white biatch, f*cking white sl*g and a variety of other names. Another man walking his dog told them to clear off. They retorted with they’d go get their mothers to come and f*cking well sort us out. :lol:

He’s not sick Becky, he knows exactly what he’s doing now, as he did all those years ago when those innocents were murdered by him and hindley. As for watching it,,,,,,,,,,i’m in two minds. For one I kind of feel it glorifies what they did, but then on the other hand, it keeps it in the public eye, so they say, and would hopefully prevent something like this ever happening again. The sad truth tho, is that it doesn’t. Unfortunately there will be some real sicko’s who will watch this programme on sunday and monday and actually ‘get off’ on it. I suppose thats where I feel it’s most wrong, but it’s also life.

When it comes to housing, the irony is of course that groups like the BNP generate so much hatred towards refugees and asylum seekers that nobody wants them in their area. So the majority are concentrated in the South East where there is a housing shortage. If they could be dispersed around the country it would relieve some of the pressure but there’s far too much xenophobia for that policy to work effectively (as has been shown in places like Glasgow).

Yesterday’s successes for the BNP were centred on Barking (an apt name), they didn’t make any real impact anywhere else in the country. For a party that claims to be the voice of white-working class England it didn’t do well in reality. The BNP still doesn’t control 1 council in all of England and it still doesn’t have a single MP in parliament. The Green Party has more councillors across England than the BNP.
It has to be said that most of the people who voted BNP are a bit thick (or just plain xenophobic/racist). I mean some people voted BNP over the issue of law an order, which is idiotic since so many BNP members have criminal convictions. Others have said they have mixed race children or black friends but still voted BNP over new immigrants. This too is idiotic since the BNP want to get rid of all non-white British citizens and not just foreigners.
What effect will the events in Barking have? Well the BNP don’t have enough councillors to dictate council policy and the law would prevent them from passing racist policies even if they did have control. So Barking now has a bunch of neo-nazis on their council who will do their best to disrupt the activities of councillors who want to serve the entire community of Barking and not just the white English section.
The bottom line is that BNP voters are a bit gullible. They are easily led and easily deceived. Obviously some of them are in denial too about their racist/xenophobic tendencies.
What exactly is that supposed to mean, that people from Barking are Barking mad perhaps!!? For someone with a name like Mr Bigstuff, I hardly think your in a position to critisise others on where they come from.
Let me put a scenario to you. Lets say your wife, or any other female relation is approached in the area by one of these immigrants, legal or otherwise, and asked, ”you want business lady”, because iv’e had that happen to me on more than one occasion, usually when iv’e been on my own, when my mum has chosen not to go out and iv’e got shopping for her. Being the east end gal I am tho, it’s also on more than one occasion that iv’e retorted with a mouthful that would probably shock a few people, and then! iv’e been accused of being a racist! Having I might add!! uttering not one word regarding their colour or race!!!!!!!
The comment about the councillors doing their best for the community is surely a contradiction in terms, if they were doing their best for the community, then the people who did vote for the BNP yesterday, surely wouldnt have felt the need to do so.

My mum lives in Barking Becky, she’s 94 on 29th of this month, she’s still very independant although she does walk with a frame now, one of those ones on wheels, she’s also just bought a ”grannie mobile” lol. I talked her into getting it because of was sick and tired of these so called ”hard done by’s” jostling her, almost knocking her to the ground and moaning cos she’s in their way!! well too bad!, we all gotta get old! I said on another thread about those animal rights people, these are the kind of pple who, if the same thing is done to them would be screaming injustice because of their race or colour :evil: another of the dont do as I do do as I say brigade.
Last year, again in Barking, she had her purse stolen 3 times, twice she saw them do it, on those two occasions it was 3 black girls, can you imagine the furore if it was done to one of them. She called out but she’s not able to run after them! She now keeps her purse on a chain, one end attached to the purse, the other end attached to the inside of whatever coat or jacket she’s wearing!

There is here too Becky. There’s an area in Barking called ”Gascoine Estate”. Frankly I wouldn’t go near it in daylight hours, much less after dark. The entire place has been handed over to Kosovans/AlbaniansRussians etc etc etc., None of them pay a red cent in charges, it’s paid by housing benefit, and then of course theres there benefits as well. They sub-let these places room by room, council say that they can’t catch them! it’s boIIocks! iv’e never seen so many ad’s in shop windows advertising rooms to let, all at between £60 and £75 per week. It’s hardly rocket science is it for the council to catch them at it.
Iv’e nothing against immigration in general, if that is, they come here and get work and pay their way, but the vast majority of pple in the Barking area just don’t. The Kosovans/Albanians sit around in the cafe’s all day and no doubt discuss their earnings from their prostitution rackets. And that………………….at the end of the day……………is what really pisses me off! :evil:
