I think there is a child in all of us Cath, that song brings mine out of me x

theres always been a child here ,
she lives deep within my soul,
she refuses to join this grown up world,
    and refuses to get old!!
she sees the wonderment in a sky full of stars,
    rejoices when winters done,
when the world awakens with colour once again,
yes my child still lives within.

    Come with me

    In a world of
    Pure imagination
    Take a look
    And you’ll see
    Into your imagination

    We’ll begin
    With a spin
    Traveling in
    The world of my creation
    What we’ll see
    Will defy

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
    Wanta change the world?
    There’s nothing
    To it

    There is no
    Life I know
    To compare with
    Pure imagination
    Living there
    You’ll be free

A hank Williams song also covered by Norah Jones

I tried so hard my dear to show that youre my every dream.
Yet youre afraid each thing I do is just some evil scheme
A memory from your lonesome past keeps us so far apart
Why cant I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart

Another love before my time made your heart sad and blue
And so my heart is paying now for things I didnt do
In anger unkind words are said that make the teardrops start
Why cant I free your doubtful mind, and melt your cold cold heart

Youll never know how much it hurts to see you sat and cry
You know you need and want my love yet youre afraid to try
Why do you run and hide from lies,to try it just aint smart
Why cant I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart

There was a time when I believed that you belonged to me
But now I know your heart is shackled to a memory
The more I learn to care for you,the more we drift apart
Why cant I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart

and for sgt …….how could i ferget this one me mum used to sing it a lot lol (yup after one or 2 makesons)

Now Delaney had a donkey that everyone admired
    Temporarily lazy and permanently tired
A leg at every corner balancing his head
And a tail to let you know which end he wanted to be fed
Riley slyly said we’ve underrated it, why not train it, then they took a rag
They rubbed it, scrubbed it, they oiled and embrocated it
Got it at the post and when the starter dropped the flag
There was Riley pushin’ it, shovin’ it, shushin’ it
Hogan, Logan and everyone in town
Lined up, attackin’ it and shovin’ it and smackin’ it
They might as well have tried to push the Town Hall down
The donkey was eyein’ them, openly defyin’ them
Winkin’, blinkin’ and twistin’ out of place
Riley reversin’ it, everybody cursin’ it
The day Delaney’s donkey ran the halfmile race

The muscles of the mighty never known to flinch
They couldn’t move the donkey a quarter of an inch
Delaney lay exhausted, hangin’ round his throat
With a grip just like a Scotsman on the five pound note
Starter, Carter, he lined up with the rest of them
When it saw them, it was willin’ then
It raced up, braced up, ready for the best of them
They started off to cheer it but it changed its mind again
And there was Riley pushin’ it, shovin’ it, shushin’ it
Hogan, Logan and Mary Ann Macgraw
She started pokin’ it an’ grabbin’ it an’ chokin’ it
It kicked her in the bustle and it laughed hee-hah
The whigs and conservatives, the radical superlatives
Liberals and tories, they hurried to the place
Stood there in unity, helpin’ the community
The day Delaney’s donkey ran the halfmile race

    Your Name

I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
    and forever it will stay.

as i stared into the light
    bitterness crept in
    with cutting scathing words
    words that I wonder
you would say if you really….
knew what an impact they did have,
    because you cant see
    the pain, the hurt
does it mean its not real?
for you , for me, for them?

    Or is this a game
    something you cherish
    rather than listen
    and see,
    no my friends,
i dont know what it is,
maybe its a page from JC?

It is a genuinely free service. We are a team of writers and story brokers who get paid a seperate fee from the magazines for writing the stories for them. But you would recieve the whole fee for your story.

We also pay tip off fees if people refer us to other people’s stories.

so how much would your average tragic story earn?

I know someday I’ll go back again to Ireland
If my dear old wife would only pass away
She nearly has my heart broke with her nagging
She’s got a mouth as big as Galway Bay

See her drinking sixteen pints of Pabst Blue Ribbon
And then she can walk home without a sway
If the sea were beer instead of salty water
She would live and die in Galway Bay

See her drinking sixteen pints at Pat Joe Murphy’s
And the barman says, “I think it’s time to go.”
And she did not try to speak to him in Gaelic
A language that the clergy do not know

On her back she has tattoed a map of Ireland
And when she takes her bath on Saturday
She rubs the Sunlight soap around by Claddagh
Just to watch the suds run down by Galway Bay!

you say you wont be here to read replies, but i suspect human nature will require you to take one last look, one last look to see if your words have had any impact, one last look, just a backward glance, it is said that if newly released prisoners turn and throw a stone at the doors of the prison they will never return……you threw your stone, good luck and in the immortal words of Dave Allen, may your god go with you…..
