I too like someone else said havent met the love of my life, i have been married twice first one was a violent marriage so that one ended, this time? just dint work, u grow over time, you change and for those who are lucky enough to be in a good marriage then u have the secret, the secret? is what i told my girls if u get married its too easy to lose sight of each other wen one is working (or even both) and one is bringing up the kids, somewhere in the middle u lose what attracted you too each other inthe first place, so when the kids are all grown u can find u have nothing in common.

how many marriages are actually on the rocks. putting up with each other for the kids? or financial reasons, i find that sad. of course not all marriages are like that.

i beleive that when you are in your twenties u are very very different to wen u are in ur forties, fifties etc, just make sure those of you who are lucky nuff in a good relationship u grow together.

sure i’ll be slammed by some buga for bein a soft old sod lol but i will find the love of my life, maybe it will be a different love to the stomach churning love of youth? maybe it will be kindred spirits type of love, being freinds, laughing together and crying and sharing thos private jokes that only the 2 of u share etc……..

so, again i say, the rainbow connection is out there for all of us, the lovers the dreamers………… and me ! lol xxx

    I watch you so frail
and i try not to let you see
    the pain i feel
    when you say to me
    I love you and please
I dont know what I would do
    without you
    I search your face
    I look into your eyes
    and I see
I see the girl you once were
I hear you when you feel sad
‘I used to dance’ you said yesterday
and i looked, I saw your memories
    Yes you may not dance
    physically any more
    but nana I love you
    and I know that your’e
feeling bad bout the small things you can’t do
but it comes to us all
    and you once
    looked after us but
i dont do it out of duty
i do it because i want to
I do it out of love
    I see your little girl
    dancing there
    and for me nana
    you will always dance
    in my heart xxx

    Friends Without Faces

We sit and we type and we stare at our screens,
We can’t help but wonder what all of this means.
With mouse in hand …we roam through this maze,
On an infinite search…lost in a daze.

We chat with each other, we type all our woes
At times we’ll band together to gang up on our foes.
We wait for somebody, to type out our name
We want recognition, but it is always the same.

Soon friendships are formed – but – why we don’t know,
But some of these friendships, will flourish and grow.
We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes we’ll flirt,
In IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt.

Why is it on screen, we are so easily bold,
Telling our secrets, that have never been told.
The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell,
We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.

We can’t tell real people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to our ‘puters …and to those we can trust.
Even though it sounds crazy…the truth still remains,
Most of my “friends” have no faces…and odd little names.

    “Rain in September”

    Like rain in September
    it washes the world, pours
    down from the sky,
    catches on the wind
drives into cracks and seeps through.
    This little hope rages,
    envelops us,
    holds us in her embrace.
The world is clean, new washed,
    fresh, because of it.
    Doubts cloud like mosquitos, but
    dissipate in the sun.
    Like rain in September hope
    washes over us;
we cling to our dreams and it
    feeds us.
    And We Saw The Moon
    and we saw the moon
    in a slow fade out,
    white to night,
    4:13 a.m.,
    framed by branches
    of low trees.

    and us,
    our feet
    wet from standing
    in freshly cut grass.
