So let me get this right?

The only reason you “did it” was to make yourself feel better?

You can call me “old school”, but I feel it would have been cheaper if you had just seen your “JP” and got some nice pills to make yourself feel better.

I think your just part of the group of morons who feel that having a degree would make you and your life better?

The reason you’re not happy or live in a nice house is that you need a degree?

Face it; most of the 21 year old are laughing here heads off at you and with good reason.

After all it’s not like you intend to find a job or get a career.

Yet again the tax payer has been force to sub some single parent and her life style choices.

Has for the rest of you, full time education should stop at 21, not 41.

Any of you who feel that they need a 3 year rest at a 3rd rate school too, remember this most employers will not read your “CV’s” for the simple reason, you are too old and have no work history.

I’m I the only realist on here?

What is the point of a woman with two kids doing a degree anyway?

There seems to be a view that you can do anything you like, but work.

I for one am sick of all these losers seeing university has a way out of work for a few years, face it, if you could only get a factory job before, what is the point of being 30 years old and just finishing a degree?

Most grad’s after finishing there Ba’s/B eng’s /BSC then do 2 years company training program before they get a good wage.

I can’t see this silly women ever working, ever reaching the point of supporting her family or using her costly education.

So maybe a few of you can tell what women in her 30’s can do with a degree, but no working history and 2 kids can do?

    I think she’s unemployable.

Oh God, why did it take you 4 years to do a 3 year course?

    http://www.psychology.nottingham.ac.uk/courses/single.html

Has for having kids ect, I’m sure you took full advantage of all access funds and bursars and was not force to live on bake beans like the rest did.

From what I do remember, all you had to do was write 4 papers each term (about 5000 words each); one would have been a group assignment.

I didn’t think it was that hard to do and you did have the advantage of using word processors and didn’t have to bang away on a type writer like I did.

I don’t think psychology is a hard course and place it on the same level has “general studies).

Is a 2:2 from a poly just has valid has a 2:2 from Durham?

    NO

Its time you started living in the real word.

There will be about 10,000 graduates this year; employers will be looking at the university and the past mark.

I can’t see you ever being employed by a company, after all there are so many out of work graduates with better degrees than you.

From what I remember at university, many years ago………..,the only people who did “psychology” where people with personal issues (the nuts).

Saying that, when I was there, they made you wait until late September for your results.

But I did go to a real university and not an ex polytechnic.

I believe the days have where having a degree was enough to open doors into work, these days you need a 2.1 and above from a good university to get anywhere in life.

I’m just trying to work out what a 2.2 from a 3rd rate ex polytechnic is worth ageist a proper degree from Edinburgh or Lancaster………. Not a lot

I must say has one of the “old school” alumni I feel the courses have been “dumb down” over the last 20 years and polytechnics have not helped raised standards.

Then again, it’s just systematic of an education system that refuses to let people fail, (its simpler to just lower the past mark, improve the schools figures and everyone wins don’t they?)

But it’s nice to see that after being out of class 5 mins, she has learn the phase “no freebies”

    It’s all about failed acts.

If your continuously fail in your aims, you lose support and volunteers.

    They need success.

When we talk about “terror “, we talk about shock.

If you bomb a plain or train, you destroy a few lives; you bomb a school with 500 kids in it, destroy the a lot more.

Why has it not happened yet?

It take’s a few years to escalate and you need a leader who will stop on nothing to win.

A cross the world schools and hospitals have been targeted for many years, there should be no surprise when it happens here.

    #274627

Soon they will get it right and people will die.

From what I know, they will move onto softer targets.

My bet would be a school or hospital, (anything with young kids or babies).

After all these damn nutters do the unthinkable, why wait untill people are over 18 to kill them?
