You didn’t mention raping a child, you said paedophiles should be executed. Are you drunk?
Child rapists are a type of paedophile who should be executed, given significantly strong evidence.
28 April, 2018 at 11:15 pm #1094196Explain how it is a different crime, 3 pages ago you complained the law is set up to protect the assailant and not the victim. Do you ever stick to one view or do you change it frequently like most people change their underwear?
One is punishable as stautory rape under the Sexual Offences Act 2003
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/part/1/crossheading/child-sex-offences
The other is punishable as possetion of indecent photographs of a child under the Protection of Children Act 1978
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/part/1/crossheading/indecent-photographs-of-children
These are clearly different criminal charges, defined by different laws and legislation.
You have no argument here.
28 April, 2018 at 11:10 pm #1094190You clearly stated execution. You are obviously not aware that viewing child porn online is considered to be paedophilia and treated by the courts as such.
Viewing child porn is not the same as raping a child.
28 April, 2018 at 11:07 pm #1094187They aren’t a different crime in certain circumstances though are they. or are you suggesting vaginal penetration with a bottle is a lesser crime than one carried out by a penis?
Sexual assault is to rape what manslaughter is to murder, what is shoplifting to burglary
28 April, 2018 at 11:04 pm #1094183Your liberal values hold no sway in this issue. It is cheaper in the long term to pro-actively apply preventative measures before any crime has been committed. Grown up are seeking solutions and locking up low grade paedophiles without attempting to reform or treat them first isn’t a solution.
The state must take no action against someone who is innocent.
You would execute a paedophile for looking at low grade child porn online? Oh dearie me…
No.
28 April, 2018 at 11:03 pm #1094181Now I know you are going to be a picky pain in the ass oops sorry, but sexual assault with , say a bottle, or ‘rape’ with a penis actually has the same sentences in court but hey fill ya boots. You are taking a very serious subject and ridiculing it trying to score points … both are abhorrent, No one here has stated otherwise.
Sexual assault and rape are differently crimes.
I would be extremely supprised if both recieved the same sentences on average, especially if broken down by gender.
28 April, 2018 at 11:00 pm #1094178In 2012/13, there were 18,915 sexual crimes against children under 16 recorded in England and Wales, according to the National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). Included in that figure were 4,171 offences of sexual assault on a female child under 13 and 1,267 offences of sexual assault on under-13 male children.
4,171 + 1,267 = 5,438 assaults on under 13s
18,915 – 5438 = 13,477 assaults on 13-16s
This means that 71% of the victims of ‘sexual crimes against children’ are 13-16 year olds.
So if you lowered the age of consent to 14 you would see a dramatic drop in the reported crime rate, as I said previously

28 April, 2018 at 10:54 pm #1094175So your not qualified to give an opinion whether treatment is suitable, or not.
You can psychologicaly condition people to react negitively to certain stimuli, this isn’t something the British state should be doing to it’s citizens.
There aren’t currently enough prisons in the UK to house all sexual offenders, obviously other avenues need to be explored for dealing with low grade offenders.
Execution

28 April, 2018 at 10:43 pm #10941712003 try getting a bit more up to date
The Sexual Offences Act 2003 is the current law.
