It wasn’t that he wanted English youth coming through or he doesn’t sign the contract.
Arsene Wenger is a fantastic manager who our english players over the years had no other opinion of him but admiration.
Is he a good manager because he’s great at making footballers better at what they do, or does he look good because he can buy and pay people to do well?
In Martin o’neils first full season at Leicester, after just getting up via the play-offs, which gives you less time to prepare for the prem, we finished 9th, won the coca cola cup, qualified for europe. We were tipped for definate relegation. We had very limited funds, but at the time wenger would’ve been considered a better manager because they finished much higher.
Its not what you do, its what you do with the tools at your disposal.
Football players tell fans what they want you to think. Yes arsen is an ok manager, and they might like him, but its got more to do with arsen allowing them to earn alot of money by picking them to play for the team, and wanting to. If they say they admire him, they think there’s more chance of being picked.
If you thought you could get more money at work by saying you admire your boss, would you?
2 February, 2007 at 11:37 pm #258456:D Like henry gives a to$$ about English future….he may have wanted reassurences about team building, not our youth, french youth coming through perhaps.
That wenger seems very anti-English. Used to cheer arsnic over l’pool in the eighties, cant stand either now.
Even my club Leicester has few English players, stearman, macauley, porter, AJ, horsefield, yeates?, only just brought in last 2. 6 out of 26….

2 February, 2007 at 1:34 pm #258454I taped the highlights and still havn’t seen it…prem teams dont do it for me like they used to.
Do Arsnic play any Englishman?
1 February, 2007 at 11:34 pm #257999Why have the rest of the world earnt the right to earn a good living via English forefathers, more than the English, or in place of the English?
1 February, 2007 at 11:19 pm #257997You joined the loosing team PB.
I said “The reason your average English worker demands a good living, is because over the years their forefarthers have given them the chance to”.
Meaning, English workers deserve the right to demand a good living, because they earnt it when it was given to them by their forefathers.
You guys assume too much.

In your eyes Emma maybe- if you dislike someone purely based on the colour of their skin then you need say no more
Here’s a chance for you to win an argument. SHOW us all the DEFINITION that says its racist to dislike someone’s racial backround?
1 February, 2007 at 8:57 pm #258329The definition of words like racism wouldn’t make much sense to a marxist like slayer. If he admitted that some racism is ok, he wouldn’t be able to “slag off” people that society “deems” are “bad” because they prefer white people over other colours.
It is NOT racist to dislike someones racial background.
It is ridiculous for society to go around wrongly spouting the meaning of words.
The moment you hear the word discrimination, whats your immediate thought, someone done bad?
discrimination
noun 1 the action of discriminating against people. 2 recognition of the difference between one thing and another. 3 good judgement or taste.Whats wrong with good taste? How can you show good taste and do bad, impossible.

Oh, this is so so rich to be beyond belief! This country is the only country in the world (according to you) who have “earnt” themselves a living because our forefathers have somehow given them the right to. No other country in the world (according to you) has this right other than us.
I never said that you idiot, thats you wrongfully assuming again. Where’s that yawn emotion
Sorry, but no one deserves to be spoon fed
People deserve the right to spend what they earn, they way they want to, and if that means giving it to their children, thats their choice, but you dont like choice, you prefer fascist dictatorism.
it is this “the world owes me a living” attitude which is at the very heart of our social problems – those who believe that they don’t have to work for anything cos they’re “owed” it are the ones who do feck all about finding work.
Whats that got to do with the above..?
No one is “owed” a living by birthright and you just make yourself look very foolish to suggest English workers are “stripped” of their birthright- what bollo/x
Owed? Who said owed? I said EARNT you fool.
Do you actually read anything over those blinkers
:D
1 February, 2007 at 4:56 pm #258325Not all racism is bad, but i get you. In our retarded socialised society, anyone deemed a racist is the “scvm of the earth”
So called “bad” words dont mean only bad.
Good taste and good judgement describes discrimination. It is descrimination to show good taste.
Disliking homosexuals and homosexuality is homophobism. If you dislike homosexuals and homosexuality, you are homophobic.
Intolerant views is fascism. We all have intolerant views, its part of our humanity.
“extreme” racism is nazism. Extreme is an opinionated word. It is extreme when you jump off high diving boards. Extremists jump off high diving boards. Extremists blow people up.
If you antagonise many people of different races, thats “extreme” racism, nazism. -
