I think sometimes it can work going back to a ex, sometimes wen u meet somone one or both of u is just in different places, or you have young children ect which can it make it difficult for you to make a relationship work because you dont want to disrupt there lives for example. But you have to deal with the reasons why you couldnt make it work first time, have u resolved these issues if not they will still be there. If either of u still hold a grudge or there is still anger maybe let the past stay in the past and remember the relationship fondly. But love is hard to find in this world and if you have a chance to be happy grab hold of it and dont let it go. Either way good luck to you.

Ive got no idea if long distance relationships work, ive seen a few work well and a few fail miserably in my friends relationships, i dunno maybe it depends on willingness to compromise.

My head says let the past stay in the past, you dont want to go through the distress of another seperation if it dosnt work, my heart says if u are lucky enuf to find the other half of you its worth taking the risk to see if it works,

I couldnt think of a name for my alsation labrador cross a cple of years back so i googled top 10 names for dogs, i loved the name MAX and picked that, nice to see name still makes top 10 ……………

Mucky i actually agree with what yv put here on this subject and i agree u know if you log on after a few visits you know what to expect and you have to have a tough skin and you learn not to let every remark get to you…… but …….

u say if u dont like it dont come in , but why should the normal chatters log off because of the abuse, ple like to pop in n talk to friends if ur a pleasant chatter why should u be deprived of this.

u also said u have to take the rough with the smooth, this is also a fair point everyone gets horrid comments hurtled at them and ple shouldnt get too upset at that.. but

… imagine if u can, think of the people u love the most in yr real life, maybe in the room u make an innocent comment about them and the abusers notice, now imagine months of everytime u log in the most vile of comments bein made about them .. i hope they get raped is one example ive saw in the room, i dont think u wld have the same feelings if this sustained abuse is aimed at you and yr lov ed ones. Ive seen the most disgusting of things written about chatters children in jc, i dont think saying just grow a pair n put up with it is possible for them, just because they are reading it on a screen dosnt mean its not hurtful for them. ive saw alot of lovely chatters leave because of what they have had to put up with in here and i can fully understand why they have left……………………..

there is some types of abuse u cant just ignore in here……….. it damages u….. it deeply affects n hurts you…….. and i dont mean the odd weird lil remark u have to learn to put up with in here …. i dont think if you havnt actually experienced it first hand u dunno how it feels.

I agree with you des and your proberly right, you did put that better than i did. But i do think people who have had some sort of social rejection are more likely to bully n inflict pain on others, and your right it gives them amusement/ power to write this stuff in here. Yr very wise also to be careful who you give out info too but in here u feel you have friends n share stories its sad when chatters live to regret this.

I think people resort to typing vile things in chatrooms is that in real life i dunno maybe they have low self esteem or have no sence of accomplishment in real life, so they find themselves in here and because they are behind a screen trying to bully others trying desperately to make them feel small to make themselves feel bigger and better about there miserable lives.

They are not worth getting upset over but when they attack your family and make disgusting remarks about chatters children or in Nicola’s case her young neice god alone knows what issues they have to do this, i couldnt even hazard a guess its a pity a guide cant b in at all times to eject them as soon as they start

just a silly point to add

it was the couple themselves who tripped themselves up in the room and then a fumbled attempt to cover it up dug them deeper in the hole they were digging, and if a idiot like me noticed it so did alot of others. it wasnt this thread that revealed them or anyone that has responded to it.

but as my favourite chatter stated theres nothing to see here lets move on :)
