Gosh will …. that must have been a real side splitter huh? I bet he was squealing like a little girl as you chased him off with your club hammer (or was it a baseball bat – I forget now).

At one level, the number of ‘powers of entry’ are quite worrying with the implication that some ‘authority’ can simply barge their way into your home etc etc.
However, in practical terms, these powers of entry seem to be rarely used. Provided that you live an averagely normal life and don’t do anthing illegal or commit any act that might bring…[Read more]

Yes I noticed this as well – reported by Reuters this afternoon. Maybe they sent an invoice for the syringe etc instead of the bullet.
I have also, as a result of today’s press report, come to the reluctant conclusion that he clearly was deranged.
Apparently ‘Reprieve’, a bleeding heart anti any sort of punishment organisation, posted on the…[Read more]

You reall have got to hand it to the Chinese when it comes to dealing with criminals eh?
I mean. they don’t muck around with years and years of drawn out appeal after drawn out appeal … all in the sense of ‘fairness’ of course.

That’s what happens when a Turkey does a Hopalong Cassidy impression too often.
Cook’s tip: When you’re a bit lopsided, bung a sausage (or something of a similar size & shape) up the bum …. the Turkey’s bum that is, not the cook’s !!!

I think that Amy is an excellent role model for all teenage pop-wannabe’s everywhere.
Pity about the teeth though.
Oh and pity about the hair …
Oh and pity about the drug habit ….
….and the attitude.
On reflection …..
maybe she should just retire.

Sorry to disappoint Rainy, but I don’t use Facebook. In fact ever since I sued a similar social networking site for breach of contract, on behalf of a client, and took them to the proverbial cleaners, I’ve kept right away from them all.

Pete, it appears that the majority of the public would agree with your ‘summary execution’ view. However, along come the ‘do-gooders’ who mention apparently wrong executions (like Derek Bentley etc) and the whole this ends up in an exercise in mass navel gazing – and nothing happens and nothing changes.
Legal retribution seems to be too hard for…[Read more]
