Oh Christ no !!! DON’T DO IT !!! I can’t bear another several hours of ”ooops did I click the wrong box” etc.

Just set fire to the bloody thing Bat and bury the burnt carcass in the garden.

I saw the owner’s piccy in today’s papers. Yes UGO, I think on this occasion you are dead right.

Mind you he won’t be so hard now that the Police have shot his ‘family pet’ that didn’t have an aggressive bone in its body.

    I think that’s a wise choice indeed!!!

Anyway the scooters are only allowed to do 8 mph on the roads (maximum) and 6.5 mph on pavements (again maximum).

I have this awful picture in my mind that simply won’t go away. It is of a ”Hell’s Grandpa” on his motorised scooter weaving down a crowded pavement, utterly pissed, and waving a bottle of Scotch in his hand whilst shouting obscenities at all the pedestrians as he drives.

He disappears round the corner leaving a trail of chaos in his wake. No doubt this is what happens to ASBO boys when they grow old.

Well at least I don’t dress up as some sort of ultra camp pirate and go prancing around the place screaming ”oooooh ducky” etc!

That soooo funny pb, and shows how out of touch your are.

I was able to order a £4k mobility scooter without being registered has disabled or giving my age.

Yes DOA I am sure that you can order one from numerous outlets – as can any child.

The point that you appear to have utterly missed is that it isn’t the possession of a mobility scooter that is controlled (or not as the case may be) by the Regulations …… it is the use of it that is controlled.

The Regulations state that in order to use a mobility scooter ”legally” you MUST be over 14 years old and MUST be registered as disabled. Does that answer the point raised???
