How very true DOA – especially at Christmas time and the season of giving. But they’re not always reliable you know – if the condom hadn’t leaked we’d all be deprived of your very helpful and informative posts.
My favourite meal is Filet Tartare – mmmmm yummy. I don’t do it with anchovies and loads of herbs as I find that this spoils the taste of the meat.
I simply bind the raw minced steak with an egg, add in a little finely chopped onion and black pepper and of course a touch of garlic. it is really really nice and the meat simply melts in your mouth it is so tender.
Yup. you can’t beat a nice bit of raw meat in your mouth can you?

This is a really good point Mary. I once spivved a vegan into eating a meat burger at a BBQ by telling her that it was a veggie burger – and you couldn’t tell the difference. She couldn’t either, but it sure put some colour in her cheeks for a while. :lol: :lol: :lol:

You must have used a false name to submit the crossword UGO??? If you sent it in in your own name they would have known that you were too stupid to finish it and given the money to someone else.
AW … I suspect the US version of this threat is: an old Dodge pickup with a bunch of ”good ‘ol boys” in the back carrying sawn off shotguns and dressed in KKK robes.
They’re not as scary as our hard boys over here …. but ought to be enough to scare off yer average American male.

Well I can’t deny that I was tempted … in fact very tempted indeed. But it is Christmas and this was meant to be a practical joke that you could play on others rather than an attempt to stuff up your own computer.
Anyway …… do let everybody know what inventive substitutions you have made (or could make) misusing ‘AutoCorrect’.

To reverse the Autocorrect option you have set…..
Go into Tools, and then Autocorrect options as before. In the Autocorrect options box that opens, scroll down the list of entries that Microsoft Word will automatically correct until you come to ”the” with its vulgar correction. (There is a huge list of them, so you may find it quicker to drag the slider down rather than wait for it to scroll).
Highlight the word ”the” in the left hand box and press/click ”Delete”. Word will then remove the word ”the” from its list of so-called wrongly spelt words to look for, as well as removing the substituted words that you previously entered.
Voila … you are back where you started.
BTW you can also add a phrase in the substitute box if you want to have some additional fun. For example if the smartarse little geek in your home that thinks they know everything about computers is named ”Fred” (or whatever) then add the word ”Fred” to the autocorrect options. Then in the substitute box add the phrase ”Fred is a fat spotty geek” (or whatever particular insult takes your fancy).
All you need do is to spiv them into typing their name at the end of a short letter in MS Word for example, and …. presto, Word will tell them the truth about themselves.
This can be especially effective for some Yuletide abuse in the workplace !!!
