It is all about ”animal testing” which I think is something to do with educating animals and getting them to pass exams. Apparently you get together a collection of paedophiles and tell them that they’re animals, then you test them. The ones that fail go back to prison.
I dread to think what the ones get who pass the test.

Of course he might not really be a plumber (or as he would have it ”plummer”) – but far be it for me to make prejudicial assumptions.

It’s more dramatic that way ‘nut case’ – the suspense is killing us all (not).
23 October, 2006 at 11:15 pm #245820I don’t know if this will help but:
Current law in the UK (The Suicide Act 1961) makes it a criminal offence to ‘aid, abet counsel or procure’ an act of suicide – but the person who actually commits or attempts to commit suicide is not themselves actually breaking the law. Before 1961, a failed suicide could and often did lead to a subsequent criminal prosecution.
There is a new piece of legislation making its way through the parliamentary process called the Assisted Suicide Act – currently still a Bill.
The outlines are:
The Assisted Suicide Act
< s.1(1) It shall not be an offence for a registered medical practitioner to assist in the death of a person if the following conditions are satisfied:
(i) a person has made a request to die;
(ii) in the opinion of a registered medical practitioner and a qualified legal practitioner, the person is competent to make such a request;
(iii) in the opinion of two registered medical practitioners, one of whom has not been involved in the care of the person, that person is
(a) terminally ill; or
(b) in extreme physical or mental suffering.
It goes on in similar vein but the upshot is that a person will be able to seek medical intervention to assist them to die (if that is their wish) without the assister being exposed to the possibility of criminal proceedings.
Maybe this will shed a bit of light on the issue.

Rule 2: If you are in danger of doing so ….. revert to Rule 1.
21 October, 2006 at 5:57 pm #245418Don’t worry about the slang as most of the users find it quite difficult enough to spell normal English correctly.
I am glad Frankfurters are made from Pork, I thought that maybe they were made from fox meat.
21 October, 2006 at 5:54 pm #245441Dear Keith,
Thank you for signing up your account as a ‘new’ JustChat message board user. Please can you start off your ‘new’ usage by saying hello to all the other users (as they don’t know you of course) and then immediatly launch into a vitriolic attack on Geoff. (Everybody else does so you need to conform).
You should maintain that you have only just joined whilst making specific references to things that only a long established user could know.
In this context, it would help if you could refer to the usual list of things that he has done over, say, the last couple of years or so. The more snide your posts are, the more several of the other users will come to accept you with open arms.
(BTW it will of course never cross their minds that you have been here before, probably for a long time, as they will be too busy applauding your posts).
After a few weeks, you could progress to abusing and insulting other users, along the same lines as you have done with Geoff.
Wishing you many happy hours of fun with JustChat – and remember……. we care !!!
Yours etc etc
