It’s been said before and no doubt will be said again. However, there is a fine line to be drawn between banter; letting off steam; having an argument, disagreement or difference of opinion and so on on the one hand and targeting a particular user with gratuitous insults; inciting others to do so; posting their personal informationor pictures without their consent and so on on the other hand.
Whilst it’s all very well saying that if you don’t like the content of a post then don’t read it – unless you peresonally happen to be on the receiving end, then maybe there is a different perspective.
We are always up for a bit of banter; piss taking, irony; arguments; debates; discussions; controversial views etc on a really wide range of subjects etc and there is no reason why this shouldn’t continue. It is the personalisation of insults that causes offence to some of our users and where this happens a post or the entire thread will be deleted.
Quite frankly I don’t see this standard as being unnecessarily prescriptive or some form of ”communism or unnecessary censorship of free speech. I see it as attempting to protect users and to try and make JustChat a site that can be used and enjoyed by a wide range of people with different opinions and views on topics where they don’t get personally abused.
Most of our members come here to post or just to read other’s posts but above all to enjoy the experience in their own way. To them I say welcome and please continue to enjoy this site.
In answer to earlier questions – I bought six bags of composted woodland bark, finely shredded and it smells absolutely awful !!!
Mrs PB has suggested that I might care to go and roll in it ….. and stay there !!!
Mind you the smell will stop the bloody foxes digging up all my newly planted bulbs !!!
Damn, I just KNEW I shouldn’t have gone to the garden centre !!!

So what we’re saying here is that women seem to be treated as subordinates to men in the Islamic world and are forced to cover themselves up partially or fully.
Well why don’t we have a similar system in this country? For example we could insist that all fat / obese Northern women should wear some sort of body covering black garment that hangs straight down from the shoulders – this is to disguise their Michelin tyres.
How about making all the ugly ones wear Balaclava helmets as well? Maybe we could only let them outside in poor light conditions?
What do you think guys – is this idea a runner?
Oh yes – of course, it had quite slipped my mind. Good old Chuck – so called because he used to eat loads of cheese at Muldoon’s and then chuck it up on the plates.
The customers all ate Chuck’s regurgitated cheese and none of them ever caught on that it had been sicked up by him onto their plates. Helluva guy, helluva sense of humour eh??
I wonder if he was responsible for Muldoon’s going out of business all those years ago???
I know somebody that didn’t work there if that helps.
