I am delighted that you both have found ‘true love’ and if i was a Vicar i’d offer to marry you both myself. Sadly I’m not so another Vicar will have the pleasure.
BTW pre-nuptial agreements are only really necessary when one or both parties have substantial assets before the marriage. Naturally, I know nothing of your personal circumstances, so the advice to enter into one is only to offer protection to either person’s psition should it be warranted.
Oh and you didn’t tell us where the Wedding List will be so that we can buy wedding presents for you that you will both want.
Things won’t get ”too draconian” I assure you – but the personal abuse will be stopped. Yes it is an ”adult” site, but that is no excuse for a user posting grossly offensive stuff about another user.
As for the ever lovely Kate, several of her more insulting or abusive polls have already been deleted. They will continue to be deleted if they carry on as they have.
BTW Bad Manners, none of the threads/posts that have been deleted were ”just light hearted banter”. In each case they contained personal abuse or a stream of foul language and we will not allow this stuff to remain on here.
Oh…..I like prawn sandwiches and by all means you go and have a game of bridge if you want to. We’ll concentrate on the polite chit-chat.
Just wanted to say a big big thank you to Jigsy who very kindly downloaded the ”Duelling Banjos” track for me and sent it over to me by e-mail.
It sounds great and it was really kind of her to take the time and trouble to do this for me.

Self abuse does not count Mr A – but then I gather that you’re quite experienced in that area???
My guess is that it will perform OK – even though it is still a Beta programme.
I have ordered it by DVD, as opposed to downloading it. It’s quite a big program and I find that it is better to pick bits off a DVD / CD rather than try to mess with a bloody great downloaded file.
One thing I would like some views on is this:
I currently have Microsoft Office 2003 Pro installed (Word; Excel; Outlook; Powerpoint; One note; Visio; Access etc etc). If I separately install MS Office 2007 (Beta) will the new version of say Word; Excel; Outlook or whatever mess up my existing 2003 version???
I am particularly bothered that Outlook 2007 may interfeoe with Outlook 2003 as i use the Business contact Manager (BCM) add in a lot and would hate to corrupt any data.
Anybody got any advice???
Just for the avoidance of doubt – we are deleting posts that are ”abusive” as soon as they are seen. If we miss one and as a result a whole thread becomes one long chain of abuse then the whole thread will get deleted.
I repeat, this will apply equally to all users, there will be no favouritism. We have a new look site, fresh paint etc etc so now is the time to start over and forget all those old fights and tired old insults of the past.
This is what the overwhelming majority of JustChat users want, so lets just settle down and enjoy ourselves. This site is nothing more that a bit of ‘phpBB’ software on a server. It is only what all of you, the users, make of it.
If you feel that the topics or posts aren’t all that interesting then do something about it by posting stuff that IS interesting.
Sure let’s all argue, debate, banter, gosssip and so on but above all let’s all do it without resorting to name calling and personal insults.
No soulie, in line with JustChat policy AND following requests from a substantial number of users, we are not prepared to allow any more personal abuse (as outlined above by GM and by me) from ANY user no matter who they are.

But you know there’s nothing wrong with pre-nuptial agreements these days especially with a couple like yourselves both of who are bringing all their tangible assets together in the marriage. If the worst should happen and you get divorced a short while after you are married, I am sure that you would want your ex-wife to want for nothing without the need to fight for her rights through the Courts.
She could have a full entitlement to your pension fund for example, a substantial share of your earnings over the years after you get divorced and so on.
Oh and do remember that on marriage she is entitled to a share in your estate when you die so if you want to leave anything to somebody else you will need to alter your Will.
