You see when you quote – it says Geoff Wrote or Sian Wrote
When I do it – It just says Quote
I know I’m sh*t at this – So no making fun of me
OK you click on the ”Quote” button on the post that you wish to quote….. then the post appears on your reply screen at the top with the syntax>>>>

11 January, 2006 at 5:52 pm #181826Well I am also really confused now. Let me ask Sian as our resident non discriminatory, anti-racist commentator what the correct terms are for:
Black Pudding
The black ball in snooker
Blackpool
a black spot or ‘blackhead’
an accident ‘blackspot’ on a road
black humourand so on……
or….
yellow bellied
green with envy
blue with cold
white as a sheet
purple with rage
red faced with anger
or even deathly pale11 January, 2006 at 11:44 am #181406Yes…..I think I remember….. this is the in – out – in – out – wave it all about thingy isn’t it?
I can do the ”out” bit and the waving it all about thing OK – it’s the ”in” bit that causes the problem.
I gather it’s a bit like pushing marshmallow into a money box.

That’s the problem with irony – some people just don’t get it do they?

10 January, 2006 at 6:19 pm #181113Yes Marty I fully agree with Tommy. If it wasn’t for Her Majesty’s predecessors shipping our unwanted convicts to your arid and desolate country, the likes of Rolf (and many many other Aussies) wouldn’t have had the pleasures of shagging a roo etc.
Ungrateful doesn’t even begin to describe your attitude to this conferred benefit.
10 January, 2006 at 6:15 pm #179690Ah … another two anecdotes from the Scottish contingent. Yes it’s really interesting reading how all you brave women coped with one of Mother nature’s little processes.
Perhaps we can widen the discussion to include all your reminiscences on child rearing as well. After all if we are going to go off topic we might as well do it properly.

 See what living in Pommy Land for so many years does to you!!
His underlying Aussie nature still shines through though – in spite of our many attempts to civilise him.
Christ we even allowed him to paint a portrait of Her Majesty and what does he do???? He puts a picture of Her on his bedside locker to watch his ”performance”. Typical Aussie gratitude.
Did you notice the look in his eye at the end of the clip??? Says it all really huh?
Even Battersea Dog’s Home have banned him in case he mistakes a lovely pet doggy for a Dingo and tries to shag it.
Nope, you can’t take these Aussies anywhere.
