Yes it’s a mammal, but there’s no need to fall off your perch over it.
18 February, 2009 at 5:17 pm #391794I’ve tried several over the years Yoda and I’ve found that Registry Mechanic is one of the few that does exactly what it says on the tin.
Crap Cleaner seems to spend a lot of its resource cleaning stuff that you can clean anyway using the tools provided with Windows (i.e. cookie files and temporary internet files and so on).
Also, I’m always inherently suspicious of so-called “free” software. In general (but not always) if it’s any good, the writers usually charge for it.

The first lesson is from Johnny Craddock entitled “How to make doughnuts that look like Fanny’s”

….. so yet again they got it totally wrong didn’t they???/ Bloody typical.
As for Sian Lloyd’s mouth – it’s totally out of proportion with the rest of her face. Oh and the blokes are mostly all poofs anyway.

I’m shocked PB – one murder may be put down to lust – two might be an unbalanced mind but thirteen for gods sake……………….
The man has no sense of morals or how to behave in society so keep him locked up !!

Crosses arms and pokes tongue out
I grant you that 13 murders over a long period of time may well be seen as somewhat excessive – but he wasn’t sentenced to a “whole of life term” was he??? Sooner or later he will be released into society at large having been appropriately punished for his crimes.
I feel more strongly about the recent case of the Portuguese lorry driver who killed an entire family, children and all, and only got 3 years for “careless driving”. THAT to me smacks of injustice.
Fortunately I’m not related to any of the Yorkshire Ripper’s victims (at least I don’t think I am), so I can afford the luxury of taking a dispassionate view of his punishment. I suppose that the surviving relatives of Sutcliffe’s victims would like to do him with a hammer – and thus lower themselves to his level eh?

PB – he didnt make the Yorkshire Police look like fools it was the system at that particular time – it was before technology was so advanced as it is now. Back in those days it was a card index system. However it did highlight a major flaw and in the following years and with advanced technology a new system was introduced.
Yes that’s true Fi-Fi, to a certain extent anyway.
Following the “Yorkshire Ripper” enquiry, the “HOLMES” major enquiry computerised system was implemented. This allows every bit of evidence to be logged and weighted so that none is ‘missed’.
However, even with the old manual system that they used back then, there were a substantial number of flaws in the enquiry and the whole thing was thrown totally off track by undue weight being placed on the ‘goading tapes’ amongst many other well documented things. The result was that they were left chasing thin air for a long time – until they finally got lucky and caught him in the act.
Sadly the Yorkshire Police came out of this debacle with loads of egg on their collective faces and it is said that they have never forgiven Peter Sutcliffe ever since.
18 February, 2009 at 2:59 pm #391993I can’t see what’s so especially terrible about his crimes. He murdered several women, which clearly makes him a very dangerous bloke – to prostitutes at any rate.

Maybe it’s because he did a few murders, rather than the more usual one or two at a time.
18 February, 2009 at 2:54 pm #390957In spite of the Media constantly slating her for being “thick”; “stupid”; “uneducated” and so on ….. she has been bright enough to hire Max Clifford to represent her with the Media and to ensure that she stays in the full glare of publicity as long as possible.
Seems like a pretty clever thing to do eh? At least she will get loads of money out of it all so she can fulfil her ‘dream’ of having her children privately educated. apparently she has set up Trusts for them already to cover this in the event that she dies soon.
