I always used to put my tree and decs up beginning of November for my kids.  I would take my tree down day after boxing day as I was totally sick of it all by then.

I don’t have young kids now so I wont be putting up any tree or decorations unless my grandson comes up obvs.

I think you should put them up when you feel like it :)
