Hey just why don’t you get a slow cooker?  you can pick up a really cheap one for like 12 quid and you just put root veg and  meat in it with a stock cube and ignore it.

Four hours later you have a really nice healthy stew especially if 1 hour before the cooking time ends you put in a few butter/belotti beans in it.

im making lots of homemade stuff today havin a cook up.  Seems to cheer me up and keep me focussed apart from working.

Made carrot and coriander soup, making pate and will do homemade pizza with mozzarella stuffed crust.  Will freeze most of it.  May do mozzarella sticks too for another time.

I am cutting my drinking down to once a week because I’m starting to look like a knackered out old handbag.

I saw that was called Supersize me.  I love Mac d’s but often feel a bit sick after but maybe that’s cos I shovel it into my mouth at top speed.

Especially the fries.

One day I’m sure I shall shove the cardboard in to by accident.

Very good really enjoyed that.

I wasn’t as keen on the last line as it didn’t feel in keeping with the tone of the rest of the poem.

Up until that point I imagined a big puma creeping up on me about to leap and put me out lol.

I wrote a similar one years ago about a neglected Garden Shed.

Similar idea behind it.

No its really not predictable, which is kind of the point to the poem.  Ending is unwritten etc.  Playing chess with fate – very good analogy.

This part is accurate.  Very impressive.
