They got to the final by doing what they had to do, Celtic of 2003 had Hartson, Larsson, Sutton & Petrov. A team full of attacking talent, Rangers don’t have that luxury and as such utilize what they have the best they can. We’re not exactly world beaters ourselves.

And anyway, pretty football got Celtic sweet FA in that game so they were hardly rewarded for their efforts. What’s the difference? At the end of the game, the result is all that matters.

Aye, the first half was dire but anyone still surprised by that (naming no names) really hasn’t been paying attention or is just bitter that his team aren’t there. Second half was much better and we had our chances. It’s also nice that there is genuine mutual respect between the two managers.

We maybe should have had a penalty but they had a similar shout which was turned down so fair’s fair.

And I reckon with the players he has out wide, he has a couple of decent attacking options (Whittaker only needs to see the goal to tempt him into a shot and Davis is good going forward) But if we have to bore them into submission, then so be it.

He’s went 451 by the looks of it. Davis & Whittaker look like they’ll be out wide as Novo isn’t starting and Thomson has made the team. Though I think it’s a shame that McGregor hasn’t won his fitness battle. No disrespect to Alexander, but I reckon Al deserves it more.
