A lot of teams were knocked out of the Champions League…again. That’s how the competition works, teams get knocked out then there’s an eventual winner. I’m assuming you already know that, just incase you think Rangers were the only ones.
You’re dodging the question completely actor, why don’t you try answering it honestly instead of coming at it from another angle because you’re unable to back up your point when it’s questioned?
I’ve seen countless replays, and there is an arguement but to my mind he was offside regardless. But there were a few debatable decisions in the game, the penalty was obviously one (though I reckon it was too close to call so a pen probably was the right decision) then there was Whittaker being sent off when actually there were other players – from both sides I have to say – who could and probably should have been sent off.
Anyway, what do you make of Boruc? Personally, I don’t have a problem with that sort of thing but given that we’re trying to push religion out of the game it probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do. And I see Strachan made a bit of an arse out of responding to it.
Tell me something actor – how many teams are in the premiership? Now tell me how many of those 20 teams fight it out for the title and then tell me the difference between a two horse race in a 12 team league and a four horse race (infact not even) in a 20 team league that claims to be the best in the world.
It’s hardly ultra competitive from that point of view, is it?
Celtic took control after half an hour and controlled the rest of the game? Is that why it was 2-2 at half time? :lol:
Once again, it looks like some of the decisions are going to overshadow the result – not sure if I’d say it was a deserved win though – McDonald being offside for the first goal, the ref being inconsistent with his cards etc.
Good game nonetheless.
And Rangers aren’t even BM’s team (if I remember rightly) :lol: Anyway, player by player matters not a jot to me – the best team don’t always win. The team that stick to the task at hand and drag their heels often do & there’s not many better than Rangers right now when it comes to grinding out a result.
I dare say a lot of teams we’ve played in this campaign are superior in terms of individuals, but that didn’t stop us getting a 0-0 at home to Barcelona, 3-0 (if I recall) away to Lyon & knocking out Bremen who were among my favourites to win the UEFA Cup when I saw the last 32.
It is a big gamble, and nothing’s successful 100% of the time but it’s served us well so far. Given the resources he has, I reckon it’s his best bet at the moment.
Possibly, but the moment that it became clear that it wasn’t staged is the moment the rule book should be thrown out the window.
Couldn’t honestly tell you, I like some of their songs but that’s about as far as my interest goes.
Perhaps, but the clean sheet at home has more than proved its worth this season :D
