I’m shocked PB – one murder may be put down to lust – two might be an unbalanced mind but thirteen for gods sake……………….
The man has no sense of morals or how to behave in society so keep him locked up !!
( And if you were related to one of the victims – maybe your view would be different……)
Crosses arms and pokes tongue out
18 February, 2009 at 4:11 pm #391765Dear Supergran
I am writing on the request of Chipster to see if you would make an exception and allow him to come to the girlie only hen day/night………….
He has agreed to any or all of the following…….
1 He will wear girlie clothes ( short skirt bit cold for this time of year but he says ok if he can wear fishnets :o :o )
2 He will talk in a high pitched voice and giggle like a girlie ( I knowwwwwww he normally does but anyway !!  )
3 The first round will be on him ( must remember to tell him to bring his purse 8) 8) )
4 He will flirt like mad and show his cleavage on request ( phwoooarrrr !! 8-[ 8-[ )
Failing you saying yes to the above as an ABSOLUTE last resort he has agreed to be the stripper ( hands off girls after he has done the Full Monty – you will know what I mean    )
Yours fellow hen

7 February, 2009 at 12:32 pm #391081My thoughts are with you PB – my heart went out to you when I read your tribute to him. I lost a very dear friend last year to cancer after a long battle so understand your feelings. She, like your friend was my role model since becoming my boss at 18 and made me what I am today – people like these are rare and their loss felt all the more.
They may be gone but never forgotten. May your memories make you smile in time.
16 January, 2009 at 11:30 pm #389239I dealt with a scam identical to this through my work and the poor man had to tell his wife where their £30,000 savings had gone – I soooooooo did not envy him – god was he embarrassed !!
29 December, 2008 at 7:20 am #388089Working in the finance industry I can see spending and lending patterns daily have changed dramatically – yes a lot is due to the doom and gloom in the media and the governments inability to react quickly to the economic crisis in the USA earlier this year.
The banks that have been ” part nationalised ” had to no choice when share prices fell to almost nothing – the city traders made their fortunes in September with over 200 being added to the millionaires list betting that share prices would fall – I feel for the banks – believe me the government had them in an impossible sitaution – they wouldnt intervene when the interbank lending dried up ( imagine you had an overdraft and was asked to repay it within 2 hours …….that is the equivalent ) they had to accept the money offered to them or be fully nationalised and be sold for peanuts a few months down the line to the highest bidder…
Lending is still available but only to those that can afford to repay it – low credit commitments, stable employment ( not reliant on overtime to keep up the bills ) and a good track record. This puts many out of the picture as overdrafts are not renewed….
The worse is to come – the figures have forecast that up to 30 retail companies will fold in January alone…….and there are more banks on the ” careful watch ” list from the Bank of England……and don’t get me started on pensions as that is a bombshell to come…..
Welcome to 2009 !!!
19 December, 2008 at 9:50 am #386897In the late 1980’s when football hollaganism was at its height, when a hooligan was sentenced in court the local news took the unprecented step of publishing their names and addresses together with their sentence on local news ……  Although it didn’t give the number of the house it gave the name, road and town……now I have very mixed feelings about this…
The families of these hooligans ( that were safely locked in jail ) had to leave their families to cope with the fallout from this – I don’t agree with it and thank god it doesn’t happen today…… :? :?
19 December, 2008 at 9:44 am #387936I agree UK – it may be the part of the country we are in as I’m in a rural area – I don’t see many foreign sellers………………………but like you I always stop, pay for it but tell them to keep it to sell to someone else as I would only put it in the bin    ( I so hate waste !! :? :? )
