They weren’t garden worms silly, more the sea/sand variety. I think I was measuring them.

I think I went there to dig for worms.. or was that Grimsby. I remember i missed a train and got a lift on a bus full of shopkeepers on a day out. Hmm…..that must be wrong.

I thought this thread was about cruelty to animals!

I think i’ll go and boil a few vegetables until they beg for mercy.

All dogs should be Heinz 57 and the same goes for cats. Breeding cats with squashed in faces so they get runny eyes, and breathing problems is no different from breeding dogs who have backs that are too long, seizures and fits, and dislocated hips.

The kennel club will just say that it can’t monitor all breeders. But the fact remains that despite some serious health issues amongst many pure breeds, they are still being bred. Isn’t that cruel?

Just had a thought all dogs are “descended” from wolves aint it cruel to go from a wolf to a mexican hairless, how much inbreeding must there have been there. Oh and the kennel club and their standards … bastards

Am not sure, but I think dogs split off from wolves a long time ago, but modern dogs are bred until their backs break, their kidneys shut down, they can’t breathe. They have their tails lopped off for no good reason (traditionally to stop them getting caught in coach wheels, but that doesn’t apply anymore). Breeding for specific useful traits is one thing, but breeding for looks when it causes significant inherited defects is cruel.

Are there any vegans posting in JC? Do any vegetarians still eat fish, or do most vegtarians these days not eat fish or meat, but still eat dairy food and associated products?
