18 June, 2008 at 8:03 pm #349201I’ve got one of those!!!!
They are saying put a cup of water in the microwave with them to stop the wheat grains from drying out.
18 June, 2008 at 6:20 pm #348112Wilma…. now there is a voice of sweet reason.
One of the very few people who use this site whose opinion I value.
Wilms, don’t ever stop being you.

I have thought about which team I want to win, and I know I am leaving it a bit late, but, well, I can’t. I have watched a fair few of the games and I don’t have any idea which team I want. I wish we had done a sweep stake a work now.
17 June, 2008 at 7:47 pm #348283There are no need to go to these extreme measures. In most of Europe organs are harvested as a matter of course, you have to carry a card saying you DON’T want your organs harvested if you die. The consequence of this is that there are many more organs available, from corneas to livers. In this country we have to carry a Donor card and relatives are still asked. In countries like germany, holland and belgium the families have to ask for organs not to be taken. In Europe this isn’t open to abuse, I don’t think people are being killed so that their organs can be harvested! But in other countries I am not sure what would happen.
It is an emotive subject. I don’t agree with selling body parts, I would rather new organs could be cultured from a patient’s own cells, but that is a little futuristic for organs like kidneys. Still who knows what will be possible in the future.
17 June, 2008 at 5:15 pm #348097I didn’t know Page, but I offer my condolences anyway.
Personally, if someone is said to have died, moved to America, decided to leave this “community”, I accept it at face value. There are a lot of things that are said in this chat site that do not adequately reflect reality, but I think that it is up to individuals to make their own minds about everything. Be honest, I doubt most people care on a day to day basis whether anything is true or not, it provides vicarious enjoyment for many.
I do think that this thread was not thought out properly. I think it may have been meant to be a dig at people who make their user names “die” for whatever reason, then reappear at a later date. Like Catty, I don’t see anything wrong with that. People have their own reasons for it. Who am I to question them.
There is only one thing that is absolutely certain in life, and that is that we are all going to die.
16 June, 2008 at 10:03 pm #348693Rotting in hell seems to be the order of the day. I thought hell was hot and flame ridden, so you wouldn’t so much rot in hell as cook. What we should say in future is…. I hope *insert expletive and name of victim* cooks on a medium to low heat in hell until crisp and rather well done.
